I was thinking that will it be a wiser idea to promote a single product on my website or a number of products from the same niche or different niches at the same time?

I think it's good to have a range of products, if possible, even if it's only a very small range.

My own experience with adding a second product to a one-product niche site is that it generally produces about 35% more income for about 10% more work, overall, so it's quite a good deal. I have one site with 4 products, and that does very well. So I'm in favour.

I don't add products from other niches, though, because it seems to me that this makes targetting traffic more difficult and makes your site look less specific and more general and in that sense perhaps less of an "authority site"?

I suggest you keep your niches separate - promote as many products as suits your situation but, on one site, all in one niche.

The alternative is what I call a 'hope and pray' or shotgun approach, and you will end up confusing your potential customers.

Also, mixing niches on one site adds to your SEO difficulties as you end up having a raft of keywords to contend with.

Don't confuse Google or your visitors. Stick to a small number of products from the same niche.

    Hey sourav!

I would definitely recommend you to start promoting ONE product on your website.

The reason is because by having ONE product it will allow your prospects/customers to have that ONE clear image in their mind of what your brand/website is about and what it will do for them.

A great example would be, Eben Pagan, who started off his successful journey by creating an eBook in the dating niche, with the alias, David Deangelo.

In those initial stages of his online marketing career, he saw tons of relationship books/products, but virtually no information on how to improve your dating, specifically focusing on men.

So, he went into this niche and came up with the eBook "Double Your Dating: What Most Men Will Never Know About Women and Dating".

Soon after he discovered the demand for many different products within the dating niche. And so, he created those products that his customers/students WANTED (and were willing to buy) to solve their problem.

Interestingly, this same strategy can be applied as an affiliate as well.

You see, if you want to promote products as an affiliate then I advise you to start off with one and test it out to see what the needs, wants, desires, and problems of your target market just like Eben did.

Then, once you have a good understanding of their need/problem, you should promote valuable products that you know will give them the solution that they want.

This will set you up to have repeat customers and have a long term sustainable business.

    Hope this helps.

Depends on your website. It can be much better to promote one product on site if the name of your site is "productnamereview.com", but if it's a niche, then there's nothing wrong with doing some type of price or quality comparison. I think you should have one money page though and focus efforts on that.

Or have a keyword domain, that's what I go for.

A strategy that may work is a minisite with one product in your niche, but also build a list which you can put your affiliate links to several products in your niche in.

Go for seperate products but must be within the SAME niche, so that it is easier to bring in traffic that is more targeted. However, I also suggest that you recommend a single product out of the few that are on your site because giving too many choices to people might make them hard to decide on one. So, for example, have 4 products on your site but say that you highly recommend one of those becaus of .....

I would say you can have multiple products of the same niche, but I would really suggest different pages for each product.
