Will they sell?

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi Warriors,

I have a few aged sites that I have never done anything with except maybe add a few post to wordpress.. I am not getting much traffic to them and not making any money from them, do you think they will sell just because they are aged and indexed?

Not sure how to price them? Any tips or ideas will be greatly appreciated..

You could auction them, that way you are not setting the price.

  Bear in mind that people are looking for two critical factors when purchasing sites:
  
  -Traffic.
  -Revenue.
  
  If I would be you, I'd just sell one of your sites and see how it goes. If it sells well, just rinse and repeat. If not, try to renew the site adding more content, driving a little bit more of traffic and creating a few backlinks.

Aged sites will always sell much in the same way aged domain sell.

I've noticed that with a keyword rich domain, you might better off selling it as an aged domain on either DNForum or Affiliates4U (list in £) as domainers often appreciate the value in domains more than someone who would typically buy an established site.

They may sell, but not for much. People want traffic and revenue, unless it's a valuable domain, as in a really hot niche, age won't matter nearly as much as traffic and revenue.

I was thinking about this too - I just let a bunch of domains go because I wasn't using them.

I was thinking of selling one that is only 3 digits just to see if anyone was interested in it.

  You will get value of your domain, but if you just refresh and get little traffic and revenue then it will earn more money.
