Monetizing a list with no products?

Hello,I currently have an opt in list of about 3,200 subscribers in an unknown niche, there were no products in this niche before I started so I created my own and it did well, I am currently creating a few more products to promote to my list but in the meantime does anyone have any ideas on how to monetize a ist without any products to offer?

Thanks
-Chris

Could you ask them? Try to find out what other products that they are interested in.

There are no Amazon books on your niche? - Affiliate link.

If there are some books in your niche, go to Amazon and see what else they bought. - More affiliate links.

In the 'what else they bought' books, are there other niches mentioned or suggested? - Niche ideas where there may be some products.

    I'm just thinking.

      I agree with Joe.

You should first ask your subscribers first on what are their main interests. After knowing your niche, then you could promote products in the same niche as an affiliate. The best is to own the product first and write an honest review.

Another way to monetize is to offer advertising in your newsletter, but this business model may hurt your long term relationships with your subscribers...

Do you mention any products or angles in your first product that you could promote quickly--books, software, tools? You have planted ideas in their minds with the first propduct so following those suggestions with solutions is a good option.

Like what others have said, it's best to ask them(your list) directly what they are looking for.

You could do it tactfully though, like maybe create a short survey of 5-10questions on surveymonkey with mixed questions so that they won't know what you are actually really trying to do and at the same time you would be building a good relationship with them !

Yes, create a poll and ask your list what they're looking for. Try to think of complementary affiliate products that you can offer them which fill some need of theirs.
