has anyone made any real money with fiverr?

I heard a lot of people talking about this place lately, has anyone seen any real results from it? I know that everything is only 5 dollars but that can certainly add up if you have a lot of gigs. I came across a youtube video from this guys gig and he was posting site reviews for five dollars, and he has a lot of videos doing this, which probably means he is making good money from the gig.

I think I would have to be really active to make any real money, which would distract me from other endeavors

I use FIVVER. Why not? It would take you so much more time to do what people will do for five dollars. What is better to spend three hours of your time trying to do something that you could just pay someone five dollars to do for you?????

And technically you could make a lot of money on FIVVER.
But you would have to be selling something that would sell atleast 20 a day just to make 100 bucks a day.

I think that FIVVER is best to find models to advertise for you.

I think to make real money on fiverr, you need to be able to do something quicker than most people can do and at a high level of quality.

If you could get these jobs done in about 10 minutes, you could get $30 an hour... not bad!

Only thing to check out - I don't use it. Do you get all of the $5, or does another organisation get some of the take? (e.g. if you use PayPal to sell stuff, they keep some of the money in fees).

Write an e-book on something that is in demand and then sell it on Fiverr for $5. It's all in how you market it.

A couple of fiverrs here and there. However, using fiverr as a means of generating cash wasn't really my intention. I just wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Which reminds me... I should probably login and see whats up. Probably have a list of expired gigs and a bunch of angry comments killing my 100% super rep.

I use fiverr a lot. I don't make money from it, I buy gigs. You could however, if you found the right person, pay them a fiverr to do the job and sell it off your site for a higher price.

Having said that you would definately need to form a relationship with the person doing the job on fiverr cause a lot of them come and go. I had a guy do some awesome articles, he was gone the next week.

At present I am having an ebook written, interesting, he charges fiverr for his services, then he upsells a ebook cover and charges you research fee. So for a short report, cause really thats all they are, he ends up earning himself around $15.

  • You can also think of a Fiverr as a great advertising medium for your higher end services.

The real money isn't from getting 20 people each to buy you $5.

It's from getting 20 potential leads, perhaps even running at a small loss, but upselling two or three of those to higher end services, or getting them to be repeat customers.

If you think about it that way, Fiverr is a very cost-effective advertising mechanism.

As far as I know, the client gets charged for $5 and the worker only receives $4, plus there's a 20 days waiting period until you can cash out. You have to come up with a gig that's easy to do, takes just a bit of time and is in high demand to actually earn anything worth mentioning.

I'm not selling anything on it but looking for people doing what I want done. I'll book the first job on fiverr see how it goes then I'd send other jobs to the guy via e-mail and pay directly after the job is done. This way, the guy gets jobs outside the system and he gets paid more.

Fiverr was the reason i made my first money ever online.I started writing articles over there for 4$(because the 1$ left is the commission that Fiverr gets).Didn't worth the shot.It normally took me 2 hours to write a nice article, unique, and i only got 4$.It's much less if i turn this in my currency which is 3€!

You have to find something quick, easy and appealing to offer. After a couple of months i decided to use my Twitter accounts in advertising anything the client wants(appropriate) for 5$.Actually i get up to 7-8 orders a day.Well there are some days i get nothing! This gig by it self gives me 150-200$ per month.By i haven't made any promotion at all.I know it's not much but it's an amount.

I believe that if you find a good service to offer, and promote it a little bit you can easily make 500$ per month or more.

Wow, you guys have some amazing ideas for making money of of fiverr. I haven't signed up yet, but I sure will. Plus I know I have a great skillset which I can easily carry out quickly. It just sucks that you only get 4 bucks. I can't believe some of the services people offer on there for that price. But like one of you said, it is a way to obtain prospects.

I did make a $5 sale but after that I didn't have time to continue with Fiverr due to other commitments. Will certainly go back there again soon.

Yeah Fiverr is more of a place to get cheap outsourcing than make money. Charge someone on your site $35 for a service and then pay the guy $5 to do it. That's the real money.
