How long for backlinks to showup in Google?

Hi folks,

I've been posting to blogs and entering into directories for an offline company. It's been about a week and a half and I have yet to see any new links show up in Google?

Can anyone shed any light on this?

    ping your backlinks, the reason they might not have showed up is because the page hasn't been indexed by google yet, use something like pingomatic and ping all your backlinks, keep a list of all the sites you got backlinks from, also ping the site you are getting backlinks for to make sure it has been indexed.

    you can use RSS mix to, just grab all the RSS urls from your backlinks, this will turn the feeds into one feed, so you can now use pingomatic to ping all the links all at once.

    It can differ, some showup quickly while others take much longer.
    ...So my advice to you would be to quit checking your backlink count and continue working on your seo, content and you'll be greatly rewarded.

    Just make sure you are getting backlinks from "dofollow" sites and from trusted sites.

    This happens sometimes, it's no big deal. There's a story of Google having indexing trouble recently. Just keep building links and Google will find them eventually! Here's a link to that article:
