INTERNET MARKETING

So I'm interested in starting an online charity. How can I get started? Anything special I should ask myself? I'd like to make it a charity for towards africa. I'd like to raise money to donate T-Shirts and Socks to Africans in need of cloths. I've gotten a really good idea for a domain to, and it is available.

It is best you will create a website first so that people and sponsors can easily access and donate if possible.

To be a charity, you have to set up an organization & file for 501(c)3 status.
Usually, you can't file as an individual. Additionally, you may want to learn more about this filing status, as now you must keep all your receipts, as well as document what your expenses were that you spent on for the "Charity's" activities. There's a lot of paperwork just to get in, and you have to utilize the paperwork provided to you once you actually get approved. This is how it's done in the U.S. - not sure about other countries.

The best way if you for what it looks like you want to do - give to people in another country is to go to sites like:

1. Online fundraising donations and ideas - JustGiving
2. Kiva - Loans that change lives
3. Personal Loans and Online Investing - Peer to Peer Lending - Prosper
4. Personal Loans & Investing with Peer Lending - Lending Club
5. DonorsChoose.org: An online charity connecting you to classrooms in need

There's another one that is out there -- I forgot the name of it right now, but, you come up with an idea, and I think people help fund your idea or sponsor it or something like that.

That is really good idea. Then you may include some TV or any other good known person in you job to make yourself success.

With all of the people nowadays excited to make money you are making a big difference...Charity is not always paid attention. well I am not sure that I can help you on how to start up but I got an idea for you.

You might want to have somebody to get the website ready for you. That way people can check it out even before it is ready. Look for people who will love to work for charity, time for giving back to the community. Build a circle of people who would love to do the same things as you are.
