Can Someone Walk Me Through the Process of Setting up a WSO?

What things can you put on the WSO sales page?

and do you use DL guard or what? I want to make sure that no one can steal my book. I know about this one... but are there any other ebook locks?

And also, when you put up your WSO; do you also use your webpages to try to get traffic? Or do you buy traffic or what? I don't the proper way to market it.
What is your best way to get targetted traffic?

You create the WSO copy/salespage with the forum code just like you create a post. There are different options to protect your download like DL Guard. I prefer to use www.e-junkie.com it's cheap and very easy to use, it will protect and deliver your product and integrates right with paypal for taking the payment. You can also use WSO Pro to protect and deliver the download, but it will cost you $20 per WSO.

As far as traffic, you can notify your list, but overall their is built it traffic. Just look at the WSO forums stats and you will see at least 1000 people are almost always in that forum looking at WSO's. That is the best part of running a WSO, it's targeted traffic that's looking to buy already built in.

If you're just starting out and aren't too technically inclined, the easiest solution would be WSO Pro. Another benefit to using WSO Pro is that you'd qualify to be considered as 'WSO of the Day' and be able to participate in a Joint Venture mass mailing done by the owner of WSO Pro, which typically generates large sales numbers in the space of just 24 hours.

Ways to get a download link:

    Ejunkie
    Paypal redirect
    WSO Pro
Manual (Not suggested for obvious reasons lol ...)

I prefer and use Ejunkie myself, although, WSO Pro is good as well. With the WSO Pro you can always use the JV with Allen/Mike option you don't have when using Ejunkie...

You format the sales letter like you would any other thread you may post, using the UBBC coding. You can use up to four graphics, I believe. If you planned on using a lot, some people will create the sales thread as one giant graphic, or as four main graphics and use them itself, just entering in the direct payment links/code..

A good setup/layout for this is generally like this:

    Header
    Sales letter
    Order button
    footer

    So, that is one idea...

And then, you just post the thread, once approved you will pay your $40 and the thread is automatically posted..

Some tips for making sure it runs great..

    1. The warrior Forum is highly ranked and easily indexed.. Make sure your sales copy is keyword rich/optimized for easy search engine ranking.

2.Launching a WSO can be a very nerve racking experience when first starting out. Especially if you don't have any kind of reputation or means of promoting it (like a list, hint.. hint..). Something that will help smooth along the process is by having testimonies and reviews set in place before you go live. And to be honest with you, it's not that hard to find them.

One method is by releasing the product to the War Room. For one thing, if it gets accepted into there then you know your doing something right. Tell your War Room members that you are planning on releasing it as a WSO and you decided to give it to them for free before hand. If it is up to par you should have plenty of people willing to post a review as soon as you go live. Most of the time they will even post it right their in your War Room thread. You can add this to your sales copy (given permission first..)

Another method, that I personally use, is by networking. The best thing about the Warrior Forum is that not only does it have plenty of internet gold in it's threads, it also has ton's of people looking for friends. Take this chance to connect with other members. It's not hard, really! With the social groups function available as well as the mass amount's of Mastermind Groups on the forum. You can easily connect with people. Before you launch, ask your friend's to review the book and if they will give you a testimony once you go live.

Just keep in mind, don't mention that you will be using the War Room as a means of collecting reviews, I did this once and shortly after my thread got deleted. Just post it as a basic "Hey, free product for you". The WR Users love giving reviews without asking or automatically, so they can come soon enough. If users don't review you can always ask what they think but, like stated originally.. Be careful..

There you are... It's not much but I sure hope it will help you from the start. Good luck on your listing and let me know how it goes! (PM Me lol)

WSO Pro seems to be the best thing. Well its warriorforum! Why not give back to the community by picking their service? E-junkie is so common, maybe because most of the other marketers use them even outside the Warriorforum community.

DLguards are brilliant, but ever heard of ebooks spreading like wildfire once sold?

There are various other options that do. I'm just saying.
Mind telling us what those options are?

e-junkie integrates with paypal and provides a payment/delivery system for only $5 a month - that's one option.

You can set up your own paypal buttons and provide the download from your hosted site - another option.

You must be a member of the War Room to run a WSO. There are fees and other restrictions on WSO that are listed in the stickies at the top of the WSO seciton.

I used WSPro and I can highly recommend it. Just make sure that you don't have old links in you PayPal IPN settings. I had some test stuff in there that I completely forgot about and my customers didn't get their download links. Fortunately Mike's support was great and I got that sorted quickly.

This brings me to the next point. Be available for support. Especially early on in the launch. You are bound to have issues and questions and you need to address them quickly.

The other advantage of WSPro is that you may be selected for WSO of the day and that just brings lots of sales for the day. I'm not sure what the selection criteria is but it had a great impact for me.

Sales letters to other Warrior should be to the point with the benefits and what is in your product. Most Warriors don't fall for the long sales letters etc.

Edit your WSO as soon as you have good testimonials. You will also get a number of people that send you PMs for review copies etc. Deal with them as you see fit but don't fall for all the stories that you get

So in short the steps are:
    • Create your product
    • Set up your downloads page (depending on what delivery solution you use)
    • Create your sign up list in Aweber (you can integrate it with Aweber)
    • Create your sales letter with your text editor (Notepad, Word etc.)
    • Buy your WSPro listing (if you use them)
    • Get your button code (you will have to back when your WSO is approved and choose the campaign)
    • Create a new post on WSO section.
    • Copy you text in and format with headlines etc.
    • Put a text line at the bottom where the WSPro button
    • Wait for the approval and payment link.
    • Pay via PayPal. You WSO will go live
    • Link the right WSO in WSPro
    • Monitor the thread for coments etc.
    • Watch the sales come in
    .

This is how I did mine. There may be some other steps if you use ejunkie but this is more or less it

No doubt I'll get slammed for saying this, but if a person can't figure out how to run a WSO by searching the forum, reading the FAQ thread, analyzing other WSOs, and using their own brain... maybe they shouldn't be running a WSO just yet.

Or must we first post our listing on the Warrior Forum and then it'll "copy itself" over to WarriorPlus?? Can someone please clear this up for me? This is my first WSO and I'm not sure if I'm doing something right here. Sorry, I'm a bit new to some of this.

        1. You do NOT create a WSO on WarriorPlus.
        2. The payment and delivery will be done through WarriorPlus.
        3. You create a post in the WSO section of the this forum and include in it the WarriorPLus button.
        4. You can NOT posts WSOs because you are not a War Room member...
