Ezine ads - Any Success Story?

Hello Warriors,

Lately I have the impression that doing solos ads on ezines can be very profitable.

First of all we get to choose to advertise at ezines that are related to our products.

Secondly these are willing subscribers of the ezines who are obviously already interested in the niches that they subscribed, in other words it is similar to our own personal list where we can email them our offer as when we deem appropriate.

Thirdly they are very targeted.

Lastly we can pay as cheap as $50 to blast our solo ads or any other type of ads to 200,000 of ezine subscribers.

Is there anything better than this? and have anyone experience any success with ezine ads?

Appreciate if you care to share. Thanks

Hi, i don't mean to blast ads to non targeted traffic. I was saying to place our ads to ezines that are related solely in our niches. For e.g pet lovers ezines subscribers would likely to be interested in pet care, pet health or pet foods etc

Of course i don't mean to blast ads on wedding shoes to the acne ezines

another question, is it not the same to blast ads on specific ezine subscribers is the same like blasting your recommendations to your own list? or at least, aren't they similar?
Because if my theory is right that means its worth trying isn't it?

You can go on and try it if you think that you have nothing to lose. In this business, we always test and test until we discover what is working and what is not working.

I certainly have clients who've done very well with them. I think it's similar to anything else, in that a minority of people who understand them well, take good advice and know what they're doing can be very successful, while the majority can be entirely unsuccessful.

Adrian Jock knows this subject inside out and may well be worth talking to. (Even reading his posts may be very helpful?).

I've long been a proponent of ezine advertising. But all ezines are not created equal. I've had the best success with established ezines that have been around for a few years, with a loyal readership that is responsive to advertisers. Jim Daniel's Biz Web Gazette is a perfect example of an established ezine that has a highly responsive readership.
