The Best Affiliate Marketing Guide?

Hey everyone, just another opinion post. Do you do affiliate marketing? And if so how did you learn and what in your opinion is the best guide to affiliate marketing?

    Boy Kenny. That's going to be a tough one to answer. Thing is there are so many types of marketing techniques that fall under "Affiliate Marketing" that I don't think there is one comprehensive guide.

    Personally I would say you're not going to go wrong with anything Jason Fladlien puts out.

    It will be interesting to see what others mention.

    The best guide out there is your own failure, and how you learn from it. If you rely on guides you're not going to learn anything. Worse, you may become dependent on other people, and if that happens someone's going to take advantage of you naivety.

    It's better that you teach yourself because the "educational" system in this industry is for-profit, so it's in their best interest to make you reliant on them. Otherwise they're out of a job.

    Well, I personally like my own course which combines my
    15 years of experience with that of all those whose minds
    I had the pleasure of picking over the years :-)

    This forum offers some great training too if you filter what
    your read through old-fashioned common sense.

    It really depends on what you are marketing and how you are comfortable doing it. I myself do it by promoring the products as a product site.

    I like Glen Alsopp's Cloudliving. That guide opened up my eyes on how to make money online through affiliate marketing. Also, Check out Matt Carter..he has a free video course which is phenomenal.

      I'm a big fan of the Lazy Marketer's products - especially the Conduit Method. Price is low ($14.95 I think). Super basic stuff, but works. It was the first technique that brought in decent income. No magic shortcut - work still required, but works well when you do the work.
