hosted by a third party or self hosted? Sequential autoresponder capability or just sending out emails or both? You're request is a bit on the shallow side - what are you wanting the software to do - do you have examples of the software (aWeber, Lyris, etc)?
Please give us a bit more information and we can provide more on our side. Sorry -but my days of reading minds is long gone.....

    • I use Lyris(List Manager) for my affiliates list.
I use Aweber for my consumer list on my personal blog.

There are pros/cons of all of them.

I personally like Aweber: it's easy to use, has all the features I need, and most importantly helps me build my list larger.

      Cheers

The 4 I hear most are
    Aweber.com,
    1ShoppingCart.com
    GetResponse.com
    ConstantContact.com

AWeber is the big daddy with highest delivery percentage. They do require double opt-in. 1ShoppingCart has both an Autoresponder and/or a shoppingcart and doesn't require double opt-in.

ive been seeing good results with Listwire. it does about 90% of what aweber does and is free, and thus superior in my opinion

    Hi guys!

Does anybody have experience with Michael Rasmussen's automateyourlist.com? I've read the futures, but I'm very newbie and don't have any list-building experience (starting my first project soon). Here is one thing I'd like to know about this autoresponder: does it allow to send a sales email again to those who haven't opened it (optionally with a changed headline?).

    Thanks in advance!

AutomateYourList is Michael Rasmussen's Private Label
      version of AWeber.

It is based on the old software system used to run AWeber
from a couple of years ago and does NOT include the
AWeber Analytics functionality such as tracking the
opens and clicks on an individual subscriber basis.

    Thank you Shaun,

I've just read this line: "Sent newsletter statistics including # sent, undeliverables, open rates, and click thrus." , but now I understand that it shows common statistics only.

    So, Aweber is more preferable.

    Thanks again!

I'm no listbuilding expert but it seems that if 7k contacts aren't generating you enough money to justify $69/mo, you may have to work on your conversions or start trimming the fat.

Anyway, GetResponse is currently $53.30/mo for up to 10k contacts if you prepay.

That's a great post. If as said you aren't making at least $69 off a 7,000 list then there's something wrong with how you got them, what your offering them or you list stragegy as a hole!

you know I really think my original suggestion was quite good. Maybe you should actually click the link that I posted and read the sales copy.

you get a 60 day trail AND you can host up to 10,000 subscriber for 11.90/ month (it get lower if you buy longer)

Imnica has been very successful and there are many warriors that are pleased with the service. Some people have even gone as far saying they like it more than Aweber.

Plus, it is even owned by a fellow warrior.

IMO the only thing that gives Aweber an advantage is its vast integration options. Aside from that, Imnica cannot really be beat.

      hey Asim!

I've used Aweber for quite some time now and LOVE their service and functionality.

However, $19.95 can be a bit expensive for someone just starting out, so you also have the choice of iContact, which is only $9.95 per month. The current trend seems to be that everyone is switching over to iContact from Aweber.

For now I'm sticking with Aweber! They're awesome.

Aweber is the best email marketing software. Just has some bits of advantages over getreponse although the price is quite higher than the other.
