The Best Way to Monetize a New Site and Take it to a $5,000/month Level?

Warriors,

Don't worry, this isn't a newbie question but rather something I'm curious about, as to what you all think. Here it is:

According to you, what's the best way to monetize a new site and take it to a $5,000/month level from scratch?

a) Google AdSense
b) CPA Offers
c) Clickbank Affiliate Products
d) Membership Site
e) Your Own Stand-Alone Info Product
f) Amazon
g) Run a Paid Service
h) Build an E-mail List Using a Squeeze Page

Also, given that you are putting in your maximum time and effort to grow this site, how long would it take you to reach this level?

Thanks!
Mustafa

I'd say building a mailing list so you have warm leads to work with and then create some kind of continuity program for your site. That way you'll get the highest value per customer and you should be able to break $5,000 a month depending on how active your site is. I mean some of the most successful continuty programs are NetFlix which are growing at a rapid rate.

I think the answer is to develop your own product and have all those Affiliate Marketers selling your product using there lists that is the fastest way to go ballistic.

That is the very best way to make money online IMHO

The money is in the list and if others can build the list for you then all the better!

I would say developing your own informational product to build a brand name, whilst implementing an opt-in email capture, so you can utilize those subscribers each and every month at timely intervals you choose.

I too am a fan of the info product. People are out there looking for knowledge and building a list around a niche will make for excellent marketing down the road. I subscribe to several lists myself an have no issue when they reach out to me even though I am not interested in their offer solely because I am into the topic they are talking about.

Most of the response I see here is supporting information products, but again, I think it's how you package and present it that matters the most. For instance a membership site with premium content might bring in more revenue than selling an ebook or vice versa.
