Setting up an affiliate program. Do you need...

to have a "affiliate agreement" or T&C's in place if you offer an affiliate program on your website?

I have my own ebook and have usual general Privacy and Terms of Service on website but wondered if you need anything specifically for affiliates? All I have so far is an affiliate guide, KW list and ebook cover.

Many thanks!

You can find generic ToS to alter to your needs, just google it. It's always good though to have the rules down in writing though, because it's amazing if someone makes $3,000 in sales for you and something happens where you can't pay them. It's good to know there's something in writing that would address the situation otherwise you could have a lawsuit on your hands.

Exactly! It's happened before, just try to protect yourself as much as possible

Thanks guys for your comments. Just out of interest if I am solely using Clickbank to process affiliate payments, I guess there would never be a situation where I could not pay my affiliates as they would get paid automatically from Clickbank for any sales they generate, is that correct?
