I've never done a survey to my list before, so I need some input here!

Google docs has lots of features that services like survey monkey has but it is free. The only problem I have with it is when I wish to reward my survey participants with a gift. It would have been easy to redirect participants to a page that have their free gift and that way the whole process flows nicely.

Has any one figure out a way we can achieve this with Google docs forms?

      Your ideas will be appreciated

All y'all are forgetting about POE - Plain Old Email. You could just ask people to reply to your survey email with their choice and any comments. You may just get some gold nuggets along with your survey answers...

Email is fine... but when you use Survey Monkey... people can answer without giving their names which seems to make people more truthful...

Of course, then you get a few goofballs who then spout crazy stuff in the survey.

Millard, you have a point. I suppose it depends on what you want the survey to tell you. Yes, you get the goofballs. You also get a lot of helpful people who tell you what they think you want to hear, or what they perceive as the 'right' answer.

Of course, you have that risk using email, too...

I've used kwiksurveys, which is pretty decent. More recently, I've started using LimeSurvey (free and easy to install through fantastico). Prepare for a bit of a learning curve, but with LimeSurvey, you have pretty much every option and feature you can think of.
