WP theme that allows you to edit (header) image

INTERNET MARKETING

Anyone know of a WP theme where you can edit the header image?

I am trying to make a personalized blog, with my name in the header.

Any suggestions would be great.

The new TwentyTen theme allows for this right out of the box.

If you find another theme with a simple header, you can make a new image the same size and simply name it the same as the original header image. Use FTP or your cPanel (or whatever) file manager to delete the old header image and replace it with the new one of the same name.

You could also upload the new header image using a unique name and then edit the header.php template file to use the new image.

There are plenty.. what you do is get the theme you like, and find the header.jpg image (used for most WP themes) then replace it with your new header.jpg image.

Next upload the Theme, just make sure the header image is the same size as the old one.

What you're looking for is a WordPress Theme with 'Theme Options', so when you're looking for a Theme and you want to be able to edit things without getting into the code remember to look for that. It can also be referred to as an 'options page'.

Be prepared to crack open the wallet because 'theme options' pages make premium WordPress Themes premium. Now a days it's nearly impossible to get a WP Theme approved on ThemeForest without having one, so if I were you I'd start there.
