Default My Blueprint To Getting 100+ JV Partners

I'm sure most of us have asked the question "How Do I Get JV Partners/Affiliates".
And why not? It's a perfectly sensible question to ask. Because we all know,
having 100 hands promoting your product for you, is probably going to be a lot
more effective then just you promoting your own product.

It's a little embarrassing to say, but last year when I launched my first IM product,
I spent all my time creating the ebook and then when it came time to launch the
thing, I made only 2 sales from my list. Months of work, months of getting excited
and seeing the thousands of dollars light up in my eyes....what a let down it was.
I soon realised I was missing an important element, what was it?

JV Partners/Affiliates!
(not to say you can't succeed without them, but unless you know what you're
doing, it can be damn hard)

Having learn that important lesson, I sure wasn't going to make the same mistake
with my next product launch.

And that's where we fast-forward to now.

The reality is, I have gotten 100+ affiliates in 1 month. Some may do a lot better
than that, but I'm sure there's a whole bunch of people here, who would really
love to have that many JV's.

SO HERE IS MY BLUEPRINT: It's not pretty but it worked for me, and to tell you the
truth I was quite lazy and just went with the flow and took a little action and saw
BIG results.

Here is exactly what I did to get 100+ affiliates:

- I Emailed my own list and showed them my JV Signup page

- I showed my network of marketing friends

- I searched Clickbank Marketplace and looked at a whole bunch of sales page,
and tried to find the owners contact info and I emailed them, asking them if they
wanted to signup.

- I did the previous step with PDC

- If you are already signed up with PDC and you have submitted a product in the
past, there' a good chance you will have a bunch of affiliates that you were not
aware of. You can mass email them through PDC.

- I used twitter to promote my page - (I don't think this worked very well though,
but I did do it)

- I put my sales page up a few weeks early and had a link to my Affiliate Signup
Page

and now for the big method, that has gotten me at least 40 JV partners alone,
in only a couple of days!

You want to know what it is right

www.membershipmillionaire.com (NOT my site)

What the above site allows you to do, is post your Affiliate Program on the site
which will get you a few JV partners, but the real beauty is when the owner
emails just your offer to his email list! As I said earlier I got 40-50 JV Partners just
from that.

You need to be at least a Silver Member which was free when I first joined up,
but unfortunately I don't know what the deal is these days. But If the cost is low,
I'd say its worth it.

Well there you have it - that's exactly what I did. It wasn't perfect, it wasn't
pretty but it took a little grunt worked and it's paid off.

Imagine if you spent 2-3 months acquiring JV Partners, followed my plan and tried
a few other methods. 500 JV Partners doesn't sound so impossible after all does it

Good luck and give my tips a try, I hope they help you too.

Ernie.

That's a good plan, but how many of the 100 actually promoted your product? Many people will sign up and promise you, then do nothing. This even happens with people who are personal friends.

Good Question Chris. I'll let you know in a few days (I haven't launched yet).

And you're right, you should accept that a good bunch of your affiliates just wont promote.

But the plan above is just for "acquiring" JV partners and they are qualified leads.

Getting them to actually promote needs a whole different blueprint

Thanks Jay!

And you're right. Some methods wont work out as well as we hope, but all of them combined can create a snowball effect and it's a great feeling getting JV partner after JV partner and you don't know where the hell they're coming from lol.

Well done Ernesto. How key to your success do you think

offering the $1000 cash contest for most referrals was?

And who do you think is going to snag 1st place?

Time to get out the popcorn after putting you on the spot like that.

Good question.

Great post. I'm not at the stage where I have my own product to push yet, but its good to know there are methods to help target JV's. Its got to be better than doing it alone.

Thanks man

Hey Ernie,

Great thread mate, I'll chime in here and add my 2 cents...

Here's a little gem that'll guarantee more affiliates/JV actually promote your launch...

GIVE THEM PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL

It's all good to invite people to take part in your launch and of course they'll all say "yes"... as Chris said: "Many people will sign up and promise you, then do nothing".

A lot of people are naturally 'lazy'... they've probably got a million other things to do then write up an email, blog post, whatever. And by this stage they've probably completely forgotten about your launch.

So make it easier for them.

Give your affiliates/JVs the following tools to promote your launch and encourage them to customize and put there own spin on it:

• Solo Emails
• Blog Posts
• Reviews
PPC Ads
• Banner Ads
• Forum Sigs
• InstantBuzz Ads
• Etc.

...And there you go, nothing groundbreaking here but it'll encourage your JVs to play a more active role in your launch.

Regards,
Brent

Ah Yes Doug, I knew I was forgetting something.

- Have some sort of JV Contest! They really play a big role, not just in getting more JV's but also in them promoting.

I have a $1000 JV contest going on, but people don't need to go that far if you can't afford it. Put your thinking caps on and try and come up with something that uniqe.....or lots of $$$ will do the trick lol.
