Submitting Videos on You Tube?

Hey Guys,

I wonder if you can help me, I have created a promo video at Animoto.com, promoting a viral report I also created!

However..

I want to make the video available as a promotional tool via a download on an affiliates page for them to use!

Can multiple copies of the same video be uploaded to you tube by different people to their own channels?

I actually don`t think you can, but I just want it clarifying as fact!

Thanks John.

I've seen the same videos by different people on YouTube so I know it can be done. Just not too sure of the legality

Good idea to spread a video though

I almost sure it can be done, I definitely sure it can be done if you change the file name (already seen several same videos under different file name)

Ditto to this. It is possible to upload the same video under a different file name. About legalities issue, umm well Im not sure about it but never seen someone sued for doing it. However Im sure you'll give permissions to them so they can use it. So Im guessing that no copyrights issues for your videos.

It shouldn't be a problem...unless you are using Animoto's free service then this would be a commercial act which they don't allow...also, it would be much smarter to use their Pro version anyway as you can give affiliates an HD video.

Lastly, music isn't an issue unless someone applies for Rev Share on YouTube but mostly, as soon as the video is uploaded and the music is detected (since most music on Animoto is licensed through Rumblefish) there will probably be ads displayed and that money will go to the artists.

      Hey Mike,

It was made using Animotos $3 one time service, the video is around 1 min 20 seconds, does this still count as against animotos ruling?

      Thanks for the heads up....John.

Chad Wyatt has a great WSO for image videos ($17, I think, 60 seconds max length)
Widows Movie Maker is easy to figure out
AVS4you is easier but costs money
a video camera is essential for actual video (IMO) or Poser where you can make 3d animations and make them into video. Camtasia, both free and pro.
the list is almost unending. There are many free and pay programs that will make video.
Animoto for free personal or pay biz videos is a bit hockey (to me) but Geico actually used one for a TV commercial... a stupid commercial, but a TV commercial none the less. There are also several other sites like it that do essentially the same thing (Google 'on line video making')

    ~ YES

You can even upload the same video with the same title as many times as you like on the same account.

    Hi,

Yes, you can submit many videos on you tube as much as you can. I think there's no problem about it. However, I'm not sure if there are some restrictions with regards to uploading video in multiple account.
