Change Your Headline Colors = Increased Optin

Dear Fellow Warriors

A quick share that I cannot claim as my own, but was reading a blog last month regarding colors that are trusted and I thought I would do a split test. The colors in question are green=trust and orange=buying against my normal red headline.

The results, green headline led to a 21% in opt ins. Orange lead to 8% increase. Based on 10,000 views of squeeze page.

Conclusion: In my humble opinion to early to tell but will use green for squeeze page headlines and orange for sales page.

Will report back when evidence more conclusive but thought I would share my early results.

Best regards

Nigel

What this shows isn't that "green converts better" or that "orange converts better".

What it shows is that testing shows what converts better

Anyone who isn't doing simple A/B split testing is leaving money on the table.

I agree. As stated the results are too premature to draw any conclusions. Split testing is a must.

I deal with new pages all the time from doing solo ads for people....I will have a look at what colors they are using and see how it effects it

    Thanks for the share.

This is interesting. Maybe I haven't had enough offers put in front of me but I don't think I have ever seen either a green or orange one.

I have only ever seen red.
