INTERNET MARKETING

Not sure if I posted this in the right section or not:confused:

I just built my first Wordpress Blog and want to list it in my google webmaster tools, but I am having a hard time trying to figure out where to post the meta tag for verification on my blog.

I am using a free theme and I tried posting it before the body text but this completely messed up my theme and I had to get a new one.

Help!

Post before the ending "head" tag.

Go into header.php and look for </head> paste it in above that and save.

There are several ways this can be accomplished; Add the Meta tag to the Header.php file as stated above or by using a plug-in.

Here is a short tutorial for adding it to your Header.php file:
