Do what you do best on your business and outsource the rest you can get someone to do everything you need to get done for around $25 dollars a week for a full time worker, you would be crazy not to outsource for this price.

Traffic is a lot simpler concept then most people think.

I am assuming you use the Internet everyday. You must see thousands links all the time on many different websites. The question to ask yourself is, "How to I get my link there?"

Get a link to your website in as many places as possible. Write an article on Hubpages with a link to your site. Post an ad on Craigslist. Join a forum in your niche and make a post.

Do that twice a day for a month. You now have 180 backlinks and some amount of traffic to your website. Obviously there are many more methods than the three mentioned above. To get 180 backlinks per month using the above method would take roughly 20 minutes.

The goal of getting traffic is going something on a CONSISTENT BASIS.

    The end.

the problem with that like i pointed out is that forums dont allow link posting.
writing articles is good but how to promote them, when 1000s of new articles are being added everyday for the same thing,

I'm tasking a different approach. I have one site up, which is a site I purchased that was already complete. It was just the files, not the domain. So I bought a related domain and have loaded the site. The intention is for this site to be a content site that makes revenue using affiliate programs such as cj, share a sale and ClickBank. I am currently participating in the most popular forums related to my category with of course a link in my profile an my signatures. I am also placing comments on the highest ranking sites related to my category, again with links to my site. I really don't know if this is the correct/best way to build traffic.

I've tried making money by pushing other people's products before, but had built the site myself from scratch. My original attempt was about 4 years ago. I didn't understand SEO that much, had no idea about backlinks and spent a whole lot of money trying to sell a clickbank product and used PPC on Google, Yahoo, and Mivea. Anyhow, spent a fair amount of money on that first try, to fail. This is back when TheRichJerk was extremely popular.

So that's currently what I am doing. I am also in the middle of an E-Book that is holiday specific and I have to get it out to market super fast to even have a chance. Its a really hot topic this time of year. Although interest in this subject is SUPER HOT it is only a hot subject for about 1 month per year. I am just about done with the E-Book but now need to get a sale page up and am thinking about making a free report to build a list. I am going to have to outsource the mini-site. I just don;t have the time or the know how to build a high converting mini site.

The third project I am working on is another subject content site. I have contacted some companies directly that I have actual experience with to see if they have an affiliate program. To my surprise they do, so the is going to bode well for me. I am active in a couple forums regarding this subject matter and am confident that I can get some decent traffic from them since I am very reputable on these boards.

So basically, I know have 3 projects going on right now. The holiday related one is obviously taking priority, then the site template I bought and have up and running with ads and the third one I need to grab the domain I want, because its a hot domain and its still available. I may try to do the third site on my own so I can learn some of the technical side. I am beginning to see that outsourcing may be a very good practice indeed!

Since I have failed and I really don't know what I am doing.... you may want to do whatever I am not

traffic is the main problem, other then seo forum posting seems the only option but is considered spamming, post the same website more then twice and your banned.

You actually said that you got banned for spamming. Look for forums that allow you to have a link in your signature. Make insightful posts about relevant topics. Nobody likes a spammer.

I think the only way beginners end up making money online is to first join a proven membership/coaching program and stick with it until you are making money. Once you have started to make some money with the basic fundamentals then you can move on to other methods to increase your income

It really depends on what you are trying to promote. I am kinda new to internet marketing, but I have tried a few things in the last year. I really like the IPK info product killer method for Amazon products like toys, games and other tangible items. This program is not as easy at it sounds though. You need to pay careful attention to your on page SEO on your homepage and follow his link juice strategies. Start with five sites and designate one site as your mother site. It's hard to for me to explain everything, but you will learn more about the mother site and all the details in his course. The support is also starting to get better which is a bonus.

Stay away from a product called Clickbank Predators. This guy markets to newbies and his product is JUNK. The support is awful.

I don't like Autoblogging X anymore and I don't like Autoblogging Samuri becuase it borders on black hat. The ONLY autoblogging system that I've found that is actually white hat is ECB also called Extreme Cash Blueprint. This is a new product, but I am devouring the training and I am finally getting started with an honest auto-blog program.

I've checked out so many auto-blog programs and this is first one that offers continual support and EXCELLENT training. Start with one thing and work from there. I am actually very busy because I write full time. I write for 7 hours per day and sell my work and then I focus on my businesses for 2 hours per day in addition to taking care of two little boys.

My main experiment has been with IPK and the network blazer product to host those sites. (My focus is toys and baby products).

I have a few regular blogs but I can only devote a small amount of time to each one each month. These are hobby blogs for now, but I am going to start working on these more seriously when I can cut down the amount of time I spend writing for other clients. Basically once I build more passive income, I am going to change things up quite a bit.

My new auto-blog empire starts as soon as I finish watching all the ECB training videos. I want to watch the videos first and then watch each one again as I go through the steps one by one. I started auto-blogging with another system, but I am taking those auto-blogs down and starting fresh with ECB. I hope to have 4 auto-blogs finished in November and then my goal is 12 per month after that.

Oh and I almost forgot. I also starting building 8 squidoo lenses each month. I follow Tiffany Dow's Lens building plan. Just google her name or check out her vidoes on youtube. She is awesome. I am not a totally newbie, but I'm still new to many IM tactics. I've been spending the last few years writing for other people and now it's my turn to start making some real money instead of getting paid one time for an article so they can reap the profits forever. I have a lot on my plate, but I am taking the plunge.

I highly recommend ECB if you only have time to focus on one thing right now. Good luck! Be patient. It never happens overnight.

If you think you are good in writing a content, go for article writing on Squidoo/Hubpages. You can offer your services here on the forum.

Regarding Traffic to your website, I would advice to make a plan first rather than spamming out and wasting your important time. Its not tough but not simple either.
