The last months or the last month?

ANd are you waiting for your PR to raise?

PR doesn't update very often, so you could wait several months for that.

And another thing, You should'nt go for PR, but for rankings in Google. PR doesn't tell much of the truth anymore.

Pagerank updates every three month. The possible date for the next update will be 31st December – 31st January 2011 based on previous PR updates.

PR is so important to Google they update it every 90 days.... think about that and that will answer your question about the high PR backlinks.

It can't be told. We can only guess and its all in the hand of Google. There has been no major pagerank update since April 2010.

I am saying that Google doesn't care too much about PR or they would update it more regularly. I have a site that gets over 1200 visitors a day. This site received a PR of 3 the first time it was updated. It was like on page three at the time.

It is now one page one rank one and has been for the last three months. It is still a PR 3. There are sites directly under me that are higher PR.

Get your site ranking as high as possible ( number one is always possible) by adding keyword rich, relevant content. The spiders will come at a regular clip if the content is regular. Let the PR take care of its self.

Why not look at the results of adding the high pr links? Has your traffic increased? Are you seeing direct traffic from those links? Have your rankings improved? Have your earnings increased enough to justify the spend on the links?

all that links are not in related website, so i think the traffic from those website is not very useful, i have some other ways to improve rank, but these links are just for pr.

I don't have any experience with paid backlinks as I always was taught that free ones that are build up over time are more effective, i'm not sure if google will credit you for massive backlinks, then again im not sure how much authority your site already has.

What are you ranking for your targeted keywords?

Those pages that are ranked above you belong to people that understand massive backlinking works.

      Absolutely agree with you.
@Kayden: Why don't you make a trial with free backlinks?

i am afraid i have no much time to search backlinks resource, i use angel&paul profile links, 1waylinks, and the links i mentioned in this thread, but i will still put free backlinks if i find it.

There are two kinds of Page Rank... one is know as real page rank and the other is something that most of us are more familar with, that is the toolbar page rank.

Toolbar Page Rank is that number ranging from 0 to 10 you see with the Google toolbar.

Real page rank value is something that is constantly calculated by Google behind the scenes. Real page rank value begins at 0.15 and goes all the way to the millions.

A log value of the real page rank then returns the toolbar page rank value you see.

So as long as you're building backlinks to your site, you're accmulating page rank and your site will probably move up the SERPS

You don't have to pay too much attention to the toolbar page rank unless you're selling PR links to make a bulk of your income

Yes, it is. PR do still update but you have to wait in order to find out the changes on it. It takes time, about more than a month.
