Hello everyone. I have a question for some of the more successful IM'ers (kenster!) That question is: can you have a 6-7 figure income that is on autopilot? I'm using the term autopilot loosely though because I mean like it can be maintained with less then 20 hours of work per week. I am fully aware that achieving this (if possible) would take a ridiculous amount of work at first (which I am fully prepared to do) but I would really like to know if any of you are in a position that fits my question... I want to be able to have the freedom to travel and do mission work and things but I also want to have a successful business to support everything.

Thanks for the help guys.

I don't quite understand what you're asking. Anything is possible, but if you want it you have to go for it. Nobody here can guarantee what YOU'RE going to do. It almost sounds like you're asking for permission before you start working towards your goal.

Where are you at now? If you're not making any money online, you better focus on 4 figures a year before you worry about 7. If you're already making four figures a year, then work on 5, etc.

One of the biggest obstacles you will ever have to overcome is the mindset ...you have to truly believe you are worth a $1,000,000.00 to achieve it. Everything else is rather mechanical in nature from discovering a hungry market and then setting up systems to produce for your clients.

I can see just by asking these questions you are on your way ...

Yes it can be done if you want it bad enough

    To your success,

    TR

I think the biggest problem is "autopilot". You can have a 6 or 7 figure income, but getting to the autopilot stage takes a very long time. During this time, you prove your concepts, grow your business, and hire a staff to be the autopilot. Yes, it really does take a decent staff to do the work you are (will be) doing for the first six months or so...

Bear in mind, autopilot came out of aeronautics. With a typical autopilot, you have a mechanism in place (The aircraft) and a direction or heading (the altitude, attitude of the aircraft in level flight, and direction). It's about the same with online marketing. You really need all of the same elements. You need a mechanism in place (your product, with sales pages and such) and direction (your blogs, squeeze pages and newsletter sequence). Once you start to scale up, you hire other people to do the same things you have been doing, to replicate your success in other niches, or deeper in your existing niche. This is the true "autopilot" function.

Purchasing some software program or script that replicates what someone has been able to do in an automated manner just won't cut it. If you need an example, look at Twitter. In the real world, you would look at the tweets, offer real content that is relevant to the topic and now and then provide a link to your promotion. With the so called autopilot software programs, they just blast the same old link as tweets. This takes the human element out of it, which humans can easily see and ignore, and that's exactly what happens, they ignore the "automated" tweets.

The true "autopilot" is building a real business, not buying a dream that some piece of software will solve all your problems and make you a millionaire. No software application will do that for you, because a truly self-adaptive software application has yet to be developed, and that is what is needed to assess the ever changing marketplace and adapt to new techniques and methods. (As an old software developer, I know the current limits of software, and artificial intelligence isn't here yet.)

Focus on the basics, get your business running, hire (and perhaps train) competent staff and you can achieve true "autopilot". Most of what is being marketed as "autopilot" is a waste of money because if it does work today, it will likely quit working tomorrow or next week as the market changes.

You can automate your business but not fully automated you will still need to do stuff, build a team of outsources and just be the CEO of your business that's what I do.

Any amount of money is possible to be made online but you have to take it one step at a time.

Start with your first $1, $10, $100 per day, week or month. Income is built like a house and the foundation must be properly laid.

Thanks for all the input guys. And like, I said I am aware that what I am talking about will take tons of work. But I have a solid plan and I have my heart into this and I am fully confident that I will be able to succeed beyond my wildest dreams.
