Any ideas on how to monetize a list of pregnant women? I have it broke down for what week they are on and the list is over 3,000 and grows by 20ish a day.

I have tried a bunch of stuff and nothing seems to convert, either on the website itself, email blast, on Facebook Page (3500 fans), or adding an advertisement in their weekly email.

For the weekly email I get 250+ people OPENING the email a day.

So the big question.... Any good ideas on how to monetize pregnant women?

You need to build trust with in them before they are going to be willing to buy anything. Get them to participate with the emails series as much as possible the more they do the more they are going to be inclined to purchase something later on. Get them to do a few surveys. The surveys are so that you can find a product that they are looking for. This will also help your conversions.

    Put yourself in her shoes...

If you were pregnant right now, what would get your
    attention?

What would your main concerns and aspirations be?

What offers would be attractive to you?

Take a look at what the online and offline magazines
for pregnant mothers are consistently advertising to
    get some ideas.

What are the best-selling pregnancy-related products
    at places like Amazon, etc.?

Also, take a look at what ads (if any) are consistently
appearing in PPC when you use pregnancy-related
    keywords.

    Dedicated to your success,

A great Idea is to survey them as well or go to a
getting mothers ready course and see what
they focus on and why the mothers are there.

You also need to understand that there are 2
reasons for buying things. The things we
Tell our friends and the real reason why we
bought the product or service and you need
    to give both these reasons.

Also have a look around at pregnant women
walking around your street what sort
of things do they have, do they already have
    kids, etc...

Also another good idea is to get into
forums around the market and use google reader
to subscribe to key forums and blogs
in your niche to find out what they really want
and what others are promoting to them

If you want some help with it I will be more than
happy to give you a helping hand.

P.s Also another reason why you may not
be converting is your copywriting skills
may just suck (thats okay) we are all ****
at copywriting at some stage. So that
is another area you can look at

Hope it goes well for you and don't
forget to send me a message if you
    have any questions!

    Hmmm...

Ive pretty much done all of this already.

Trust - Yes. They get free weekly emails for which they DO read.

Research - Yes. I checked online and I do own a Retail Baby Store. But pregnant women really don't buy certain items ONLINE. Also I have done a survey and didn't get a good answer. Seems there is no different between pregnant woman and a non pregnant woman.

I seriously doubt that there is no difference
between the 2. Have you tried split testing
a range of product to promote to them?

there are lots of pregnancy products on Clickbank, including ebooks on pregnancy nutrition, choose the sex of your baby etc. I know when I was pregnant, I would buy anything about pregnancy I could get my hands on

Yes, I've tried a few of the Click Bank items with no luck. Used my write up and the sites suggested email write up. Ive used trends and pulse and can't find a product for pregnant women.

No I don't put my name on the emails.

I appreciate all the input here but I really have researched and tried and can't come up with specific items/books/programs to sell.

Is the list responsive? The only links on the list is back to the week of pregnancy that is within the email. I would say I get a good open rate but the click through rate sucks. Below is the aweber Follow Up Totals. Since this is my only email campaign that I have ever done, it's hard to say if it is responsive off of this since I never have sold anything yet to my list (FYI, I have only tried about 5 times in the last year, I dont spam the crap out of them).

Just because there are less messages getting sent towards the end of the campaign doesnt mean people leave the list. Just more people sign up and start towards the beginning and middle. I'd probably only average 1 unsubscribe a day.

Also each message is 7 days apart, so 1 a week.
