Everything You Need to Make Money with Internet Marketing

This post is for all those people that are looking for the next big thing, the incredible program that will take them to autopilot success.

Ask any person who has ever made money online, it doesn't happen without work.

All you need to succeed in this business are the basics (which can very easily be found for free) and a stubborn head. Instead of trying to find the next big thing, try and find how your thing could be better.

Of course, no matter what, there will always be people that will continue to look for that next big product and this might be a tad cynical, but those are the people the rest of us will be making money off of.

So if you want to be making the money, instead of the money being made off of you, stick to the basics and work your @$$ off.

Just my two cents

    Agreed (mostly) ... although, depending on what you're doing, I don't think you necessarily have to do anything "better". Better than whom/what, and how?

    Many niche markets are under-served, and if you're just doing affiliate marketing you can probably make a nice monthly income just by doing the same stuff as what few competitors you may have in your niche(s), to the same level (if not lower).

    "Best" of anything is very subjective, and in many cases comes down to perception, rather than actual substance.

    As an example: if I was an article/email marketer, I could write "better quality", most sophisticated articles than my competitors', but in that case I may very well be appealing to a very different potential customer demographic than my competitor who does something differently. He will take "his" customers, I will take "mine"; customers who may very well have not taken a liking to the other parties writing style, virtual-personality or sales efforts, and as such may never have bought from the other party anyway.

      Very true thanks for the elaboration

    I agree...if your passive and kinda flip around from idea to idea you will keeeepp on failing. i used to think like you...screw vuying thiings and that, the key is to buy 1 good product and stick to it. and not o buy those products that are like "make 1 a day in 3 days" or w/e....its allllll BS.

    but if you can find a model to follow that works if you work it...and follow it...you will succeed. but if you want a "push this button and make money solution" your going to be paying to push a lot of buttons.

    check out the link in my sig...its not a push here to make $127.46 TOMORROW, but if you follow these real techniques you will make money.

    Well said Kenny. I once read a quote that summed that up quite nicely. It said: "To make real money, stop being marketed to and start marketing yourself." Or put another way: "Stop being the prey and start being the predator." Ok so that's not quite as articulate as I remember it, but you get the idea. Basically you need to sell more products than you buy.

    I agree with most of what kenny5 said when he started this post, but I think there should be a bit more to the mix. Yes, you need the basics and a stubborn head, which I would prefer to call "Focus".

    You really need to focus on the actual building of your business, and avoid the "shiny object syndrome" and the lure of the mythical "easy button" while you work towards profitability. However, I've found that even with the basics, many people that try to focus on the task at hand will still fail, just because they don't know how to take the basics and turn them into action.

    With a good program that provides step-by-step instruction of those basics, it is possible to then focus and see positive results without the distractions of having to stop and find out how to do each process. A good program will also provide realistic information on how long the various processes will take, so you will know up front, what to expect as you work through the processes. You can find much of the information for free, if you spend enough time searching, but it can be difficult for someone that hasn't done it all before to determine exactly what to do and in what sequence.

    Thus, having a good program can help immensly, but as has been said before, you have to buckle down and "just do it". You cannot hope to succeed in a reasonable amount of time if you continually jump from one program to another. As others have indicated, expecting results overnight isn't a realistic way to go.

      Hey Rick

      You are right about Focus.

      F = Follow
      O = One
      C = Course
      U = Until
      S = Successful

      Has worked in the past and will continue to work.

      Regards

        I couldn't agree more, unfortunately it's more easily said than done for the newbie, especially since the year-round phenomenon of constant product launches always presents them with something new and shiny to get distracted by!

        With that said, if they focus on one thing at a time and refuse to get drawn in by the bright shiny objects along the way, they'll inevitably encounter success as long as they persevere!
