I haven't used Facebook but I believe it's one of the most underestimated sources of relationship marketing on the internet. While everyone fights each other on who can build a biggest baddest mailing list, I'm sure theres a few quite people making some nice bank off the back of it.

  I switched to FB after Google stopped approving my ads. I will post back in a month with the success/failure. Everyone I know uses face book to chat with family and friends. In the last two days I have had 40+ new visitors to my site. I never posted it anywhere except in my profile. I set up my FB account just for my side business. Exclusively to sell computer service and products.
  
  The problem with Face book is that I don't know anyone that clicks on those ads. I really hope I can make this work. Google ad words use to be so easy!

Keep in mind that Facebook now has more traffic than Google, imagine the power of being able to amass a huge (100,000, 500,000, 1,000,000) people all interested in a specific niche / product and, selling that product to them....

Facebook marketing is the future, I make over $3,000 per week with relatively little work and a business that grows virally. A formula is what you need, a system that works perfectly every time, in EVERY niche

  There is no doubt that Facebook is No.2 today. That is why every internet marketer (including me) is trying to make success at it. but till now I am not successful. I have in my mind that traffic from social media sites such as Facebook is not 'buyers traffic'. People goes to Facebook for just sharing. My prospective is that it is very hard to sell at Facebook. Feel free to deliver your view in this regard. I may be wrong.

Even if facebook has more traffic - You don't go on facebook to buy stuff? You type into google, buy product not on facebook

Im seeing Facebook just like Twitter - Its A Relationship Building Tool, No Different To Building A List, Except Lists Buy. People On Facebook Like Freebies. Who knows though, build the relationship strong enough and they may go and buy

  I made my first two sales using facebook marketing only. But for an organic traffic I believe facebook is not a dependable one(I might be wrong).
  
  As per my knowledge in the marketing point of view we can use facebook for 1) List building using fan pages and groups, 2) Market Research.

I was wondering if we can use Facebook as another media for marketing. Though it is a Social Media, one can still introduce good products and services just as easily as talking to another friend. Can't we...?

Right now I am working on building a fan page on Facebook. This I believe is going to help my business because it will allow me to have more people visit my page as well as helping to get the word out about my products and or opportunities in a non intrusive way.

I have been using Craig Carons stratagies to build my page and I will see the fruits of my labor really soon. I have looked at few other stratagies as well.

  My tale is slightly different since I sell my service rather than a product right now but I have got customers through facebook and even with a small amount of people - it's the relationship that works for me.
  As for facebook ads I'm sure some make a killing but I personally found them pants for my target market. That's just my opinion.

I make money with Facebook by connecting with other Internet and Network Marketers.
By posting my blogs and videos, I have built up a great reputation and established a following of close to 20,000 on my Fan Pages and personal accounts.
I also manage Facebook Fan pages for 20+ of my Offline Clients, we build in Sales Funnels and Lead Capture pages. If your not monetizing Facebook, you should be.

I don't really use Facebook to earn money. I don't want to mix work and personal stuff on one account, nor do I want to have multiple accounts. I prefer to keep Facebook "personal stuff only" for these reasons and because marketing on Facebook annoys me and I follow the golden rule. :p

build a group/fan page to get 5000+ members and you can promote CPA offers to them, promoting seminars and events if you do them is also a great thing to do on facebook.
