What is the best YouTube Features to Get Views?

Hi Karry, you are probably going to get the most views from an organic search for the keywords, if there are a lot of searches for that keyword or phrase.

Another way to get plenty of views is to have the video posted on a page that gets a lot of traffic.

Or you can have plenty of links from sites that direct people to the video.

The most would come from all of the sources above, assuming that we are not talking about a crazy viral video.

It all comes down to the video being optimized for a keyword that gets lots of hits, and plenty of links to the video.

Matt has it right. Its like SEO, the only difference is here, you optimise for youtube results pages (and perhaps google's at the same time).

Use the youtube keyword tool to see which keywords get the best searches. Another way is use the keyword youtube suggests as you type into the search bar. These keywords are bound to have higher searches or youtube won't show them as suggestions.

You can then use these keywords in your title/tags/desciption.

@karrydee - just was checking out your YT channel that is linked to your profile and here's a couple things that will help...

1. Your video's don't have titles...so far the two videos you have posted have title's such as "MOV03051.MPG" so first things first, rename the titles based on what your videos are about.

2. You only have a couple of tags on each video, definitely take the time to enter as many related tags to your target niche as possible.

3. As for getting more channel views...it's actually pretty easy, you just need to keep posting videos...you uploaded two videos, both two weeks ago and nothing since.

What people do on YT is find your videos, watch them and if they are interested, they will go to your channel to watch more. So more videos will give you a better chance for more video and channel views.

4. Also, if you are going to do more videos featuring yourself in front of the camera, one good way to get people's attention and get more views with videos like that is to find videos related to your niche and post video responses.

Most time, video responses featuring real people receive a much better response.

Lastly, just like what was mentioned above, post your videos wherever you can, i.e. Twitter, Facebook, etc. and keep at it.
