Are you checking your Spam content checker? Aweber says your score shoudl be under "5" to avoid the spam box. I don't have problems with my messages, but I always keep it under "2".

Yes, make sure your Spam Assassin score is below 2.0. Based on my testing, sending shorter emails is more beneficial since there are less ways you can trip a spam filter.

You can also direct people to a blog, etc. where you do all the selling. I used to send long emails all the time until I discovered I was getting better delivery rates with shorter emails.

But that's just my experience...yours may vary :-)

Does that happen even if your recipients have white listed email from you?

Quick question: is the address you sent the test to the same one you've set up as your "from" address?

Because if so, that may be the cause.

A lot of spam purports to be from the recipient's own email address. So sending an email "from" yourself (using AWeber or any other system), to yourself, can cause exactly what you're reporting.

If your "from" address is the same address you're testing to, try testing to a different address, or changing your "from" address. If that doesn't fix it, PM me and I'll be happy to take a further look.

Any time that happens, mark your message as "not spam" if your email service has that function (like Yahoo does).

Are you using html or just plain text emails?

I think there is some wrong advice in here...

The spam rating MUSt be zero... If it's not zero, then most people will not get it. If it is zero, many people will still get it in their Spam boxes.

Spam rating of 2 is ridiculous.
