Where & how to sell PLR?

Okay so you're newbie, you're starting out, you wanna make money selling PLR product coz that's all you've got at the moment. Where and how would you sell it?

a) to your list - yeah but what if you don't have a list?
b) JV - okay but where? just contact them here in this forum or net?
c) wso ?
d) other - what? please suggest ways

    Rewrite the PLR into something new (with your own insights added to it). Then build a website for it (with a keyword domain) and hook it up to PayPal or e-Junkie. Do a WSO to get some sales record for the product, then sell the bundle as a Clickbank-ready turnkey setup on Flippa.

      Please don't try to pass off regurgitated PLR off in the WSO's. That is not what the WSO's are about. That is reserved for products you actually created yourself. You could however put in a classified ad to sell it.

    There are other forums where you can sell old PLR.

    However, I wouldn't generally recommend selling old PLR - as it will never help you to build any good long term relationships (and most of marketing is about building relationships, despite what other people might tell you).

    You'll do a lot better by buying fresh and up-to-date PLR, and being one of the first people to take action with it. And ideally going one step further with the PLR than other people are willing to do (for instance, turning it into video).

    I agree with everyone, don't just sell your PLR as it is, if you want to have a business selling PLR then I suggest you either write your own, pay someone to write them for you, or if need be rewrite the PLR you already have so that they are new articles and then sell them as PLR.

    You can only sell them through a WSO if you have written them yourself, you can't sell PLR that you have bought with a WSO.

    There are other things you can do with PLR too, like Ruby said you can change it, turn it into something else. Use the PLR as a base to create your own ebook that you could then sell.

    Set up a website using the PLR as content and either keep that website and build it up to make money with it, or sell the website.

    Do a search for PLR on the forum here and you will find a wealth of information about it.

      I guess it depends on what type of PLR you're trying to sell. There's all sorts out there.

      What do you currently have?

      A ton of articles?
      A bunch of PDF e-books?
      Videos?
      Software?
      Is it all old stuff you got from a huge membership site?

      What you do with it depends on what you have?

      I started a niche PLR site with totally brand new articles. So if you're going the article route and you already have some PLR ones, definitely re-write them or pay to have them re-written. You don't want to get the reputation of selling a product that the market is already saturated with.
