Big Product Launch Question! Just like the big guys do!

Ok, I've done a few product launches, and were very good. But I have a question.

I am thinking to launch a new product, on big lists. So, let's say, if I buy a solo ad on a big list and I have over 2000 clicks guaranteed, the offer will convert good?

So, my question is, does work to buy a solo ad for launching a product?

The conversion rate of your offer doesn't depend on the amount of traffic you send to it. Figure out your conversion rate first and try to improve it as much as possible in order to get the maximum out of buying a solo ad.

If you're buying these clicks from someplace that give 'points' for viewing the website, I would reconsider and see if there is a way you could talk to someone with a list of 2000 and see if they would send for you. Several someones, in fact.

Give a review copy, show them your CJ or CB listing and if they think the product is good, and the sales copy compelling, it should be a slam dunk.

That way you'd get 2000 emails sent to people interested in your product, not just interested in getting points for their own accounts.

      1% conversion on 2000 = 20 sales.

      2 cents given...

To test out conversions, it's better
to try a few different sources [JVs, PPC]

Then, when you have some cold numbers
to look at, determine what's your earning
per click and whether the 2k click solo ad
    is a smart move.

e.g if you're going to make profit from it.

    For example:

if your earning per click after testing is ~$0.1 per click,
then purchasing a solo ad for 2k clicks let's say for
    $1000 leaves you at:

    You're paying: 1k/2k=$0.5 per click
You're potential revenue: $0.1 per click
(remember: this is only an example)

So, judging by the averages, it's not smart
to purchase this solo ad, because even if statistic
prove true to this list (for which there's no guarantee)
you're still going to LOSE MONEY.

OOhh...yea ..depends very very much on the traffic. Because if the traffic is not quality traffic , you can have the best sale letter, but you will not make a sale!!

Yes, you are right.I will test the conversions on PPC I think, or on a friend list, and then I will see if it's profitable to buy that SOLO AD!
