Dishonest Marketing - How Do You Feel?
"I just got a $50 home depot gift card, but since I am moving to the U.K. soon, I wont have use for it. I am selling it for $30. If interest please contact at blah blah blah. Then when they emailed me I would tell them that I already sold the card but I got it from an online offer. I would send them the link to the offer, telling them that it might not still be up but it's worth a try."
Now, I cannot be certain, but I would venture to say that this was dishonest. The person was not moving back to the U.K. nor did they actually have the card at any point. It makes me wonder how many people run their business in this way.... And I wonder if they are completely ok with it... Taking advantage of peoples naivety doesn't seem right to me. What do you think? In the words of Wise ol' Solomon:"The man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out. "
Can you even make a very large income while staying honest? I sure hope so.
