Getting accepted to Demand Media Studio?

Well I'm thinking of applying there and I have a few questions

Do you have any tips on getting accepted?
Is it hard to get accepted?
For my writing sample, what should I write about?
How should I format my resume and provide a nice looking resume?
If I get denied, am I allowed to reapply?
Is there an age requirement? If there is, could I work with my parents consent?

I've been accepted although I've never written there. I applied so I'd have it as a gap-filler if ever needed as they pay 2x weekly. A lot of people get approved but their style guide can be tricky and a lot of writers complain about strict editorial guidelines and difficult editors.

I believe there is an age requirement. I'd look at the TOS to be sure. If you want to apply, I'd suggest reading a lot of their articles on ehow.com (especially from their experts) to get a feel for the style. Craft an article that meets that style for your sample.

I don' t think you can re-apply from the same email address as a rejection.

    Good luck.

I was automatically accepted because I had published a bunch of articles with eHow -- I didn't even apply to Demand Media. I have a profile on there, but have never published an article.

It occurred to me that I could outsource the articles, but that's problem against the TOS...

Thanks for the advice. Although a bit strict, $15 is a nice price.

Hmm, a bit confused. You added a bunch of articles with eHow but never published an article?

Getting accepted by Demand Media is fairly easy. Strangely enough, I had a tougher time getting my bio accepted on there than I did getting approved. They made me rewrite my profile twice before they allowed it to pass through.
