Losing page rank...

What are the ways that you can lose page rank?

I know that PR is of little real consequence (except for the advertisement placement services I use which use it do determine price).

But I have a site over 2 years old that went from PR3 to 0 and the only changes I made where adding Word Press Robot to add a few products from Amazon - not run a huge autoblogging campaign.

Any advice?

    Back to the question. There are a lot of ways of losing pagerank. You've lost some of your backlinks, authority and trust from Google, or haven't updated in awhile like adding new content. You did something to your site that raised a red flag and Google didn't like, but usually you'll be deindexed instead of losing pagerank for this.

    Do you monitor who links to your site? If you obtained links from high pr sites and they removed them, this can happen.
