Newbie Questions about Affiliate

Hello I would like to introduce myself, i'm vinnyband from digitalpoint and i'm from brazil, i was always earning from adsense sites, and i started to read about Affiliate Marketing and i want to start on it but i have some questions:

1 - Is it possible to earn a good money without using AdWords?
as i don't wan't to start spending any good amount of money because i'm newbie on Affiliates

2- Is it allowed at Clickbank or CJ to post your link in forums or yahoo answers?

3- What is better , landing pages or blog?

4- For those that use opt-in, is it so good? Because it will not be possible to send content to all different subscriptions,if per example i start to sell a lot of different products . Or should i only use opt-in for those products that are more profitable?

thanks , hope i will earn a lot of money

Ten years doing affiliate marketing so maybe ı can answer some of your questions. It's a brilliant way to earn money but content is the most important thing. Landing pages earn the money not blogs. You can post your Clickbank and CJ links why not, put them in your signature in forums..be glad to help with any other questions you have....

I'd get the affiliate "thing" in working order and then move into adding opt-ins. Suggest joining the War Room on this forum as there are some great threads there about affiliate marketing strategies.

Whether you can add affiliate links in forum signatures, etc depends on the rules of the forum - some allow affiliate links and some (like this one) don't.

        1. Hells yeah. Find problem conversations and offer solutions.

        2. Yes, in the sig, as long as it's allowed by the forum and
you contribute to the discussions. Yahoo Answers ROCKS for
        problem/solution marketing.

        3. It depends. A good blog with quality content and readers
that value the opinion of the Author could easily out-perform
a landing page. Content and trust is what matters, whether
it's on a blog post or a landing page.

        4. It depends. I think opt-ins have their place, but it really
depends on the market. For example, because of the sensitive
nature of dealing with illnesses and the health of our family
pets, our customers just want answers and solutions.

To have them opt-in a mailing list, only to send them to an
ecommerce site is a tad bit insulting, IMO. On the other hand,
if you had them opt-in to receive a report on a particular pet
illness (say dog cushing's disease) and then promoted a solution
to the illness within the report and follow-up emails - well, that
would be perfectly okay and probably quite profitable.

And, you could probably do very well working with only one
broad niche by subniching and offering reports for each topic.

...if per example i start to sell a lot of different products
BTW, start with just one niche. If it's profitable, develop it. If it
isn't, then drop it and move on.

You could have both a blog and landing pages and use your blog posts to review and recommend the affiliate products that you are promoting and include your affiliate links in your blog posts to encourage visitors to your blog to visit your landing pages where you are selling the product.

Having an opt-in form allows you to build a list, which gives you the opportunity to build up trust and credibility with your list, which leads to their accepting your recommendations of products, which leads to sales for you. Highly recommended.
