Experiment on Google Translate = 30% uniqueness in less than 5min =>

I just ran a quick experiment on Google Translate (translate.google.com).

I wrote one article then re-wrote it twice. Then I spun around the paragraphs. The result of doing this was approx 13% uniqueness.

Second, I took the original article and translated it from English to German, then to Italian, then back to English. The result was 18.75% uniqueness.

Third, I took the spun article (13% unique from above) and translated this to German, Italian, Dutch then back to English. 27.65% uniqueness.

I then touched it up a bit to get it reading properly again. 29.68%

The whole process probably took 5 min. max after I had finished the re-writes to translate and then tidy up the grammar.

Nice experiment, most of the time I used some online translators the results look quite ridicilous, though readable. Haven't tried what happens when try to re-translate back to original language.

It takes a lot of effort to clean up text for grammar and clarity. I prefer to get it right the first time.
