Multiple Ezinearticles accounts?

Anyone tried / is using multiple Ezinearticle accounts with the same author name and links to the same website?

Reason is that they can be VERY slow approving articles and after a few articles you can easily reach their submission limit...

Thanks

It's against their TOS and will end up with you losing all your accounts if caught. Why don't you use other directories instead of just focusing on one?

      Thanks Tina

      Thought so...
(but hey, it's against facebook TOS and yet people have more than one account!)

Am using other directories but EZA has still the highest pagerank...

After a few HIGH QUALITY articles, they raise their submission limit.

At EZA, after you submit 10 initial articles without a problem, they upgrade you to "platinum", which has no submission limit.

If one of your initial 10 articles did cause a problem, then they upgrade you only to "basic plus" and ask for 25 more articles before they review your account for upgrade to "platinum".

You need at some point to submit 25 consecutive articles without getting one rejected or causing a problem, to become "platinum", otherwise you can stay stuck indefinitely on "basic plus" with a limit of 25 submissions before further review.

As Tina wisely says above, don't open more than one account, because you will eventually be discovered and get all your accounts closed and a personal ban.

spot on Alexa. I'm not in "Basic Plus" and hopefully they'll upgrade me to Platinum...

        Fingers crossed

Good idea but I'm finding that the article submission limit applies to the overall account, not the individual pen names...

Yes, it will do, I'm afraid. These things are at "account level" and override "pen-names". :p

Best of luck for 25 impeccable articles!

Evidently, otherwise you wouldn't so openly be advising others to break EZA's terms of service.

It's best to just use different directories so you can take advantage of links from separate ip addresses. Other than that, I think the answer has come out in this thread already, just post quality articles till you make Platinum Status.

I'll admit i've had multiple accounts (heck I forgot the password for one that still makes me money, made that one three years ago, finally remembered it and the password to the email I used)

I don't really see the problem with having multiple accounts, never seen the need either though.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, it's when you try to use it for shady purposes (like spinning the article a bit, then submitting to a different account) that you can get in trouble.

Honestly I wouldn't worry too much about it

    Just a thought

Are you going for quantity over quality?

A well written article will get you far more traffic than a ton of quickly written ones.

I only have one account. So does my wife. Same computer same IP address. EZA are well aware of it as once, when there was a glitch with the main account, I had a support ticket open and they suggested that I post the article in the other account to get it in the approval process rather than waiting for the account problem to be fixed.
