Very profitable ebay method with proprietary software [Need Advice]

Im looking for some advice on a recent mistake I made. Here is the background.
I came up with a very profitable ebay method. It required proprietary software but meant tons of sales and high profits. I was making $4000-5000 a month easily, and I even had an employee that did most of the non-technical work.
Then I went on vacation and was struck with a series of very unfortunate events. First, there were some changes to data feeds I was using that broke the program. In retrospect, and even now, this is actually a very easy fix. A few days work and I could have it back running well. On top of this though, my single employee had a hard time managing without me and I had a hard time doing much while I was away. This lead to 2 neutral feedbacks and 2 negative feedbacks on my account. It doesn't sound like much, but it alone cost me my ebay store, preferred seller status, and buyers are now presented with 2 giant red circles front and center when they look at my feedback. It devastated my morale.
My vacation is now coming to a close( it was a long one) and I am trying to figure out what to do. I have come up with one of 2 things:
1. I sell my method and software. I assume I would have to limit the number because my market would saturate rather quickly. If I did this, would there be much of a market for what I have? Its not easy, and it would have to be more like a 1-1 coaching thing more than an ebook. What would I price it at? $5000 a month profits are easily attainable but they require no small amount of answering emails and quite large monthly ebay fees.
2. Restart. But how do I recover from that negative feedback? And any ideas on how to re-invigorate my spirit. It is what seems most damaged here.
