Quick Question For Clickbank Vendors...Give Me A TREAT

As a CB vendor what is the easiest way to get your customers on your buyers list.

Do you have to get them to opt-in after purchase or is there some way ( I've noticed that customers can enter their email address on the CB order page)

    My advice would be to create a page where the buyers will be redirected after check out and then put an opt-in box in there so that everyone who buys your product needs to enter their details before they download it. That will keep them on your list.

    That's what I do anyways

      Just make quite sure that either you make it optional, with an alternative link to download the product without choosing to opt in, or at least don't do it without disclosing before they pay that opting-in is a condition of sale (i.e. if it is!). Not if you value your PayPal account, anyway.

        IMO, the easiest way is to capture customers in a "buyers list" is by using DLGuard. This way, you're protected against thieves, and you can automatically unsubscribe refunders.

    After the download, direct them to a page with an optional optin box stating they'll get all new updates etc of the product if they subscribe.

    I use getdpd (similar to dlguard) and the buyers are added to my list automatically. I tell them to confirm their email for free updates, etc. This works to get them to confirm and keeps me legal, lol. Getdpd.com integrates easily with my aweber, also other autoresponders too using a custom parser. Was very easy to setup and works perfectly with clickbank (seems to work better with CB than it does with paypal).

    However, I've also seen the other methods listed here be successful. Just find a way that suits your style and rock it.
