How To Find A Great Coaching Offer?

Hi guys!

I am at this stage in my internet marketing journey when I really need some proper coaching from someone who is already making a full time living online. I am not necessarily talking about folks on this forum but some big names.

I am looking for a product that would combine coaching and a step by step plan like the one offered in Empire Formula.

Are you aware of any big launches that are happening right now?

Also, do you know anyone from the forum who has already delivered this type of service in the past and would recommend them?

I had one coach in the past but this was a big mistake. I was paying only 75$ per month and ended up writing articles for 3 months that gave me nothing apart from a lot of frustration.

Would appreciate every comment

Cheers

Pawel

    ahhhhh... new meat!

    Just kidding.

There are several excellent ones in the WSO forum. But you can do a search on this forum for the 30 day challenge - it's a free one - and VERY good.

Find someone who has a record of success in areas that you are interested in.

I cannot make any solid recommendations in this area, because I never had a coach. I have done coaching in the past, but usually only for specific cases.

Personally, I would be a bit weary about paying someone for coaching services especially when you are just searching around for a coach and don't actually have someone in mind that you trust.

What sort of money making opportunities are of interest to you?

How much time do you have to devote to your work each day/week?

What sort of expectations do you have for a coach - how quickly do you expect to be making money and how much?

I just thought these would be some relevant questions to consider before you go further. Ultimately, you'll probably need to devote a lot of time and work to the coaching programs of very successful internet markets. Article writing is boring and can be very discouraging, especially if you're targeting a highly competitive niche. You can easily sit around writing articles for months and never see any result. On the other hand, if you're pointed in the right direction, this sort of work can actually produce a lot of steady, recurring income.

Just be careful and don't let anyone tell you that they can direct you to making a fortune with no time or effort - It's just not possible.

30DC is a good place to start but the key thing with any form of Coaching and / or mentorship is to make damn sure that the character at the other end is someone who has direct experience in a "hands on" capacity of doing business rather than someone who got lucky with a rehashed offer and then has "dined out" on it ever since.

Basically make damn sure that they can cash the cheques that their mouth writes.

Plus also get as many testimonials / references as possible if you can.

@phpnetpro - Thanks for this post. Loads of useful suggestions. I am looking for someone who can hold me accountable and motivate me. I need to be able to stay in touch with that person all the time (email or Skype). I also want that person to have a clear step by step plan that they use in their business and that can be copied and implemented by me (wishful thinking?). I don't expect to be earning anything within the first 90 - 120 days. I know it takes time and hard work, I've done it in the past but all my efforts were put into the wrong place. That is what I'm trying to avoid this time as I don't want to spend 10 hours a day writing articles.

@sgsmorgan, whitebuddy - I will check this 30 day challenge. Don't know what it's about yet but may be what I'm looking for Thanks for that guys!

I guess the whole thing with coaching is all about having someone who will keep you going and stay motivated. You also need to be sure that this person can actually deliver.

      Any other suggestions?

How much are you willing to pay for coaching?

It seems like you are asking a LOT for... a few nickels and dimes... (in the first post you said that you where paying him 75$/month for coaching.).

You won't find any decent coach at 75$/month! Not even 75$/hour!

So how much are you willing to pay for coaching?

I don't know really. Don't know what are the average prices but I guess that I could go over the 100$ per hour amount providing that the person coaching me would prove that they can help me (show me some of their achievements). I think that it is possible to learn a lot from a one hour chat with someone skilled.

As for the recent stuff, there was a guy from this forum that said he is willing to coach me for a one time fee of 500 dollars and he seemed to be pretty knowledgeable so I really don't know what to look for in terms of pricing.
