Holy cr*p Google must be living on my site

I was just looking at my hosting stats and I saw that Googlebot has been to my site over 14,000 times this month. I am not sure how many times they visit for most sites, but this is the most I have ever seen.

Sure hope they are finding something they like.

How are you able to see when Googlebot has crawled you site?

Can this be done somewhere in cpanel?

It is in Awstats. If you open up Cpanel and you either click on the Awstats icon or the View All Traffic link in the left panel, mid way down.

When that page opens you will see a list of your sites and if you click on the view link to the right of the list of sites you have. That will open a page that lists various different stats for that domain. I am not sure how accurate it is, but it is one way of tracking stuff. The bots that visited are down near the bottom
