What is this adv-adserver.com that's affecting my traffic statics

Hey Warriors,

does anyone of you know what's adv-adserver.com? I checked my Google Analytics acc, and it has 54 visits and over 98% bounce rate and avg time of 15sec.

It is affecting my traffic statics, and I cannot figure out what's adv-adserver.com. I did some research and read that it's a spam traffic. I don't how i got this traffic, and how to get rid of it.

Will it affect my Alexa ranking? My Alexa ranking has climbed from over 1,000,000 to over 700,000 in these 2 weeks.


adv-adserver.com consist 5.46% of my overall visit.

Does anyone teach me how to stop getting adv-adserver.com traffic which i think is not real traffic.

    Adv-Adserver is just pop under advertising. Some of you might have been familiar with AOL a few years ago and the problem of pop under ads with Aol well that’s all What is Adv-Adserver.com is. If you have a website that has affiliates on it there is a good chance they are using a service that is associated with pop under advertising.

    Pop under advertising is currently undetectable from pop up blockers and many times people who sign up for cheap internet connections are forced to have pop unders enabled. Saying is you get what you pay for well in a nut shell i basically explained that whole industry for you. A person gets cheap broadband connection the company then fills there browsers with pop under ads it’s much more common than you think. Another thing is that this traffic is usually Proxies so there’s no telling where the actually pop under traffic is coming from.

    I have no affiliates at all.

    But I hire Worry Free Traffic to build links and drive targeted traffic to my site. I wonder if this could be them.
