Recommend E-cover DIY sites

Hi,

I'm working on some projects and need a few ebook covers made. I'm on a major budget and prefer to find something that's DIY with a one time fee instead of outsourcing.

Does anyone know of any e-book cover software or programs or sites that generate some nice e-cover designs?

I own photoshop but I am HORRIBLE at designing graphics. I'm looking for a really easy program or membership where all I have to do is make simple choices to get a relatively attractive design.

thanks!

    Hi!

You could try eBook Cover Creator - eCover Design Online Free

Alternatively spend $5 on fiverr.......I've had some pretty nifty designs made in less than 24 hrs and saves my time messing about with software!

    Regards

There was an awesoem WSO recent that was packed with amazing value.

If you have photoshop it had some action scripts in the package that created ecovers and boxes etc... all those type of graphics so you can easily make your own

Maybe search it out - sorry I could find the link

The ones mentioned above are very neat too - depends how much of your personal time you want to spend for the results you can produce.

Outsourcing on these types of things if you're not a designer is usually best but I know you've mentioned budget so if you can';t manage it yourself try Fiverr as mentioned above.

Also here in the WF, some great deals to be found. If you only need 1 or 2 it will be cheaper than buying the software to DIY anyway.

    Good luck with it!

  • I went through dozens of them a while back, and the free ones are absolute crap. Spend the money and either have someone do it for you, or get a good software package. Make sure it's a good one, though, becaus they are definitely NOT all the same.

Personally, I use a Photoshop Actions package. Had to pay a pretty penny for it, but it works beautifully.

I agree. Actions are the way to go.
