Building a list but not making sales? Here's what I do...

The above is from the last few weeks for one of my Clickbank products.

How do I do it?

Simple.

1st of all - I am building a list and my landing page for list building IS NOT my sales page...duhhh!

Of course, I have a popup optin form on my sales page but it only coverts at about 5%. My stand alone optin page converts at about 40%.

So - it's a membership site that costs 27 as a down payment and then 14 bucks a month - and occasionally, people sign up for the monthly payment.

But what I do to get numbers like these is to email my list that a special "one payment" lifetime membership special is coming up.

Now - the site HAS a one time payment option but it is much higher than most people will pay (for this product it's 97 bucks).

But I KNOW they will willingly pay $67.

So I tell the newest list members that a special is coming... then I tell them it'll be 30 bucks off the "one payment" price... then I tell them they will get a FREE hardcopy of my book (creatspace at 3 bucks my cost).

Then - last but not least... I tell them that I only have 10 copies of my book available so only the first 10 will get it.

Then I tell them exactly what time the "special" will happen and tell them not to be late.

That's it.

No big secret. It's sort of like a Black Friday sale and as soon as I put up the SPECIAL page - sales start coming in and come in for the next 3 or 4 days depending on how I run the special.

If you have a list but can't get it to rock n roll - try this. It has worked consistently for me for the last 3 years.

    Forgot to add this...

    I get about 60 new leads a day on my list so I can do this "special" about once very 2 weeks.

    Pays them bills!

      Are you new? Oh - yeah... you are.

      Before I set it up I only order 10 copies of my book. I can always get more as more sales come in.

      The thing is - only about 1/3 actually respond to my request for their shipping address for the book. So if I don;t have an address, I don;t have anywhere to ship it to.
