Free Plagiarism Checker?

I have a few articles that a few of my workers had done. I need to check if they are unique. I can't really afford any payed plagiarism checkers right now or I won't be able to pay them.

I'm not sure if it's still free, but I LOVE DupeFreePro. It will take 5 random sentences from your article and check the major search engines for a match.

If you need to check every sentence, then you can load them into DupeFreePro 5 at a time until you go through all of the writing. This may be a bit time consuming, but it does work.

    All the best,
    Michael

The problem with copyscape is my articles are not on any website yet. I would like to check if they are unique before putting them up. And the only way for that is to get premium for copyscpae.

Also, I'm testing DupeFreePro, but it doesn't seem to work.

You seem to have doubts about the competence of your 'workers'.

What do you intend to use the articles for? I don't think that you have made this clear, so the assumption appears to be that you want to submit them to article sites. If so, then if you do not have the means or the funds to check them, why not try and publish one? It's known as 'publish and be damned'.

I'm sure that you'll soon find out if it is acceptable or not.

          Just my thoughts,

          Jeff.

Well, I don't really want to try and publish something that is not unique content.
I got a few writers from freelancer so that is why I'm skeptical about it as I have already fired a few for this reason. [Although I am a writer and have a service for it, I don't really have time now to do my own writing for my own site]

Also, @ Audrey Harvey, thanks for those, will check them.

Haven't you tried Article Checker? You can use it for free, BUT, this is quite good enough only if you write the whole article yourself.

Another one is the Copyscape, but it's not totally for free. However, this one is more reliable and very detailed in giving you feedback if the article has passed the screening.

I buy credits for Copyscape Premium - $5 will let me check 100 articles. How cheap does it have to be?

Have you tried just using Google? Copy and paste a sentence using quotation marks. That's how I do it.

There's just a thread like this on the same forum..

You can use Google - just find a sentence that looks like it should be unique, and put quotes around it. This will tell google to do an exact match search.

Copyscape premium really isn't that expensive.

If it's really a concern for you, just make the small investment for piece of mind.

One quick method I've used in the past is to simply copy a random sentence and paste it in Google search.

See if any exact matches come up

Hey, free checkers could invite trouble. Of course, you're saving your money, using freebies, but they usually provide not accurate results and miss a lot of plagiarism (I know what I'm talking about)

It's better to use freemium plagiarism detection tools, tools with free trial (such as Content Rescue Avoid plagiarism in your content. Check for duplicate content online!) or paid tools with not so high prices (Unplag https://unplag.com is a good example of such tools).

If you have a lot of time, you could try a Google search with operators "" to receive free results.
