Clickbank question - confused!

I've got a question to ask you.

I am selling an e-book on Clickbank and I have had a number of sales recently but when I search on marketplace and find my book the stats show N/A for price or earnings and also gravity is 0.00

Why don't these sales change the gravity and price. How often are they updated?

The thing is affiliates will not promote my product when gravity is 0 and earnings per sale not shown.

help please

The building blocks for CB's gravity analytics are not known, but from my experience, only consistent, and regular sales result in a gravity climb. Give them some more time - about another week or so.

I believe that clickbank update these stats periodically.....so hang in there and you will see changes soon!

Gravity is updated daily, around midnight Pacific time.

If you made your own sales, i.e. without an affiliate assigned, it will NOT be factored into your gravity or earnings calculations.

So until you have your first affiliate sale, your gravity will remain a nice, round zero.

Does anybody know how many sales you need to move that number though?

The day following your first sale, your gravity will be 1.0.

With no further sales, that gravity number will drift down, something like 0.97, 0.94, 0.92, etc. over the next several days, finally arriving at 0.0 after 60 days.

Now add up all the same amounts and fading effects for *each* unique affiliate that has had at least one sale for your product in the past 60 days, and you have your gravity score.

There really is less mystery to ClickBank's gravity algorithm than people seem to think.

Thanks for the answers. the problem is though that I am making sales through my website but no affiliates are able to sell the ebook. Lots signed up but very poor conversion for them.

What can ı do about this as ı can't email any affiliates?

Maybe send out an email for them to contact me or can ı somehow do a search for links promoting my ebook through Google??

      Help someone!

Mostly don't worry about it, chances are you only have a few, and they just auto post from clicbank's XML feed or are just rubbish affiliates, or are picking up your product through the semi-automatic clickbank hop-ads... these people will never convert and theres very little point chasing them to help them as they won't do anything differently / even answer you.

Just starte recruiting people properly, put up an affiliate section with banners, articles, ppc info etc on your site and announce it here and on the other forums, but also make an effort to contact related websites and blogs about your program - also put an opt-in on your affiliate page so you can contact them in the future too

This certainly explains why your gravity remains on zero. As explained by wwwBaron above, gravity is based on the number of affiliates who have each made 1+ sales during the last 8 weeks.

Maybe contacting affiliates who are actively promoting in your niche would help.

Check on google listings(paid and free) and contact these webmasters offering them bonus/prize etc to woo them and have them review your product on their site.

you have to wait for the clickbank system to update the numbers. Those stuff are normal , nice one that you are making money on click bank with your own product.

As long as the OP has no affiliate sales, he can wait for ever without the gravity figure moving.

Gravity doesn't measure the number of sales: it measures the number of affiliates who have made 1+ sales.

A vendor with 100 affiliates each of whom has made no sales but who has sold 100 copies himself, and a vendor with 1,000 affiliates each of whom has made no sales but who has sold 10,000 copies himself both have products with the same gravity, and it's 0.00.
