Questions for a YouTube and video editor guru

Hi,

I hope someone can help with some questions I have regarding youtube and video editing.

1. What is the best way to download videos from YouTube?
2. What software (free) can you recommend me to use to edit video?

Find here a sample of a video what I want to do.

http://http://www.onzin.com/video/ge..._de_fiets.html

1. I want to add a frontpage on the video, can I do this with Powerpoint and Moviemaker?
2.If you play the video you will see the name of the website on the right bottom of the video, how can I do this?

I really hope someone can help me and give me some advice.

Thanks in advance.

Richard

That link you provided needs a doctor asap!

Anyhow, to download videos from youtube, you can also use the following:

Real Player - It has a download module that allows you to download videos on the fly as you browse

Flashgot - Slightly better than Real Player's Download Module

    Editing has already been covered.

    Hope this helps,

    Hav

P.S. Get that link to the ER.

I believe Chrome and Firefox actually have plugins to let you download YouTube videos.

  • Hey Richard.

There is an awesome free downloader which I use myself. It's called VDownloader.

As far as editing goes Windows Movie Maker will be fine but it's a tad basic. Should be OK for what you want.

I am a full time media consultant so if you need a hand with this please feel free to get in touch!

    Best wishes.

    Barry.
