Hi

i am looking at some expired domains. I know how to search for the (go daddy auctions etc) but how can I find out if they have any PR or backlinks?

Alternatively you can sign up for a service like Register Compass.

Also, you should run any expired domain through a check to see if it's been banned by Google SEO Tools - Search Engine Optimization Tools for Webmasters

expired domain names - www.olddomains.net is pretty cool, don't know about the accuracy of it though.
Domain Samurai can do this too and it's free as well
