    This is a good thing.

More rejected articles = Less stale articles

    No boss,

Thanks for sharing this link with us. This is very helpful. 28,000 articles rejected on the first try is really amazing.

They said most of the articles that are rejected is because it's too promotional.

Another rejection is because they have more than two self-serving links in the resource box.

They also say not to put self-serving links the first second or third paragraph either.

They also do not like excessive use of keywords.

    LOL....
These are mistakes that NO warrior member should make.
There are so many threads here that go over how you should
write articles and these top 4 mistakes are just being plain
    stupid in my opinion.

agreed ... the rules are spelt out pretty clearly on the ezine site ... people shouldn't be surprised when they get stopped because of them ... like anything, it is about living within the boundaries these sites set you - it just makes life that much easier

Once you have written a couple of articles you never have to worry about this. I agree that the biggest reason they get rejected is because they are blatant advertising. Although sometimes the article sites decide to ban certain links in the resource boxes and people can become unstuck there.

I agree to some extent Leanne. There is definitely a fine line between writing for search engine placement and writing for readers.

Thanks for this - it's a good listen. Think the real take away is write for the reader not the search engines.
