WSO or Sponsor Offer?

I'm getting ready to post my second WSO. I am also planning on posting in the Warriors-For-Hire section as well.

I just found out about the WF Sponsor Offers. So my questions are:

1 - Have you become on Warrior Forum Sponsor yet?

2 - If so, have you seen results from the WF Sponsor Offer section yet?

3 - Will it be as profitable as the WSO section?

4 - Is it worth the $25 / month?

Tell me your experiences with the Sponsor Offers section.

Thanks.

Curtis

I say $25/mo is very low amount to test if it works for you. If it doesn't, you can cancel the subscription at any time.

Becoming a Warrior Forum Sponsor allows you to have an image in your signature file, 234 x 60 size. It increases your private message space to 800 messages. Allows you to post ads freely in the Warrior Forum Sponsors section. If you are not already, it also makes you a War Room Member. $25 Per Month.
      No, I'm not there yet.

      Sig Ads:

I think this will be of most benefit to those who regularly post on the forum - same as sig links. I think you'll need an eye catching ad. I think you need to also reply to threads on which you are an expert, and the topic of the thread is one that your ad can solve - to get the most benefit. That's not to say you won't catch people on miscellaneous threads as well.

Message space is quite generous already when you join the War Room, but if you get a flood of messages going, that extra space might keep you from getting too full.

As for posting in that additional area, only time will tell. (although I did just sign up for something after taking a peek just now)

Something I did discover, there needs to be a different abbreviation used for the sponsor offers so people don't get confused. Perhaps WSPO.

I'll need another upgrade of some kind when I get to 800, I'm not very good at deleting them, except the ones I then wish I'd kept.

I have no WSO or Sponsor Offer, but I like the p.m. space.

Looks good to me so I've just added my new PLR and content creation service to the sponsored offers section here, also created my page in the affiliate program database and just waiting for approval so we'll see how it goes?

Alexa, you can download your PMs if you want to save them before you delete them.

Just look in the bottom right hand corner of the page to find the download links.

Ooh, thanks, Bill - never noticed that before. It might be a bit "technical" for someone like me, though: I'd have to download them "into" something, a file or a folder, or something, and then be able to find that later ... things that are automatic to most Warriors are a grave challenge to an incompetent technophobe like me.

If it becomes the thing to pay to be a sponsor and put what would have been your WSOs in there, instead, this would be quite a change. I think the deterrent would be that it's a price you pay every month, so to make it worth your while you will be doing offers every month.

Still a little unclear on how all this will work out and what the point is of the sponsor section.

I'm guessing it doesn't have to be "special" to go in the sponsors area. Not as restricted as WSOs.

I'll be posting my new WSO in the WF Sponsors section instead of the WSO section and see what happens.

Well, the jury's still out on this one as not enough time has passed to see how this pans out long term.

Apparently some folks will push limits to see how many ads they can stick up on that section and that will no doubt lead to restrictions for the rest of us.

But the biggest factor right now may be the ratio of views those different section are getting. Once that stabalizes it will be easier to make a decision. Additionally, it may take some of the pressure off the WSO section and allow ads to remain on the first page for a longer duration.

        We'll see...

        Hi Paul,

Was you around when WSO's could be bumped? :-)

This will not hurt the WSO forum. The Sponsor section is more for search engines than for members here to be browsing. That section is the only place on the forum you can put an outright ad without paying for it.

Also, I don't care if they have 100 threads in there, as long as they do it over time and do not try to hog the front page.

There are a few people here who have discovered the secret of using the "right" thread titles on this forum. To those people the sponsor section will be a gold mine.

          I can vouch for this.

My WSO thread actually outranks my website in the SE for "magic niche finder". :p

And people here would be shocked at how many of their WSO sales are not even made by people registered here. I've had to bite my tongue to avoid posting on this subject. It's best to just let people figure it out for themselves I guess...

          "An INEXPENSIVE test".

That's the mantra Jay Abraham drilled into my head many years ago.

And after running one - and being pleasantly surprised at a site
ranked just 1 position below my own blog post on Google - I'm
going to stop worrying about how many views my thread on the
Warrior Forum Sponsor Offers forum gets...

... And enjoy the OTHER benefits ;-)

          Thanks, Allen!

1 - Yes. As soon as I saw the offer.

2 - Yes! VERY good results, on both offers I currently have listed there.

3 - Not sure yet, but I'm testing it. Also, the Sponsor section is new, so there is a novelty factor. We have to wait for things to settle before we can be sure.

    4 - As of now, $25/month is a no-brainer.

I had this same dilemma. I plan to become a sponsor. I had already had my WSO thread approved. I decided to go with the WSO simply based on the number of people viewing. It was like 1200 vs 53.

I am already a war room member so I have 500 pm messages. But I do think there will be value in the Sponsor's Offer section. Guess we will see soon . . .

I agree for $25 bucks a month you cannot go wrong. I suspect there will be some rules in place down the line so the section doesn't lose its integrity.

But all in all a very good investment to make the sponsored section. WSO's do get more views though by far but they both have there uses.

I've noticed that as of now, the WSO forum is getting roughly 10 times the amount of people viewing as the sponsor forum...so unless something drastic happens, the WSO's will go unharmed.

I was about to launch my first WSO when the sponsor forum was created so I thought I'd test that out with offers before paying for a WSO. Hopefully it turns out to be a good investment.
