Why I Prefer Paying For Information

Hey guys,

So I was looking over my emails today at all the people I have signed up to for free products over the months with all their great techniques and strategies and I thought 'wow, I'm actually never going to use any of that'.

It got me thinking that once you actually commit financially to something you are much more likely to actually implement it and use the strategy that you have been taught. Free information unless you are deliberately seeking it out is more often than not just pushed to the side.

But when I purchase something I drain every last little bit of value out of that sucker!

  • That's very true psychologically. Paying $1 for a product is better than getting it free, and in fact, the more you pay for something, the more likely you are to make use of it.

In fact, a lot of the time now I've found I'd rather pay for training than to buy a cheaper ebook alternative, purely because that adds a community and accoutability to the overall package - both of which are very important when you're aiming to succeed.

That's exactly it, even high end products given to you for free somehow lose their value and get pushed aside!

If you are draining every last piece of value out of something you purchased that is a good thing but I think you'd be surprised how few people actually do so. I agree with you that free content is thrown to the side very frequently but I've noticed several buyers who purchase with excitement and then become distracted easily or simply do not want to implement the steps in a given guide. Are the odds of implementation better with purchasing instead of getting it for free? Probably, however even purchased items stop people dead in their tracks when they realize they actually have to put work in. Free or paid, it all comes down one thing, taking action.
