I made a short video with my overnight results using YouTubes new PPC advertising. I started a campaign late last night and checked on my campaign this morning and decided to shoot a quick video to share the results. Could this be a possible new gold mine? Love to hear your opinion on this. If you have used this post your results would be interesting. Frank Bruno |

Once word of this spreads to the whole IM world, it's going to be another mad marketplace like Google Adwords. But at the same time, it's a whole different medium and like conventional PPC, who can craft their sales message right will prevail. |

Hi, I'm an IM-er who's getting his footing with this whole thing.

Not sure how I feel about this. It sends traffic to your videos? Or is just ad space on YouTube?

I agree its gonna be a goldmine. Before the fire catches on theres some MASSIVE money to be made if you do it right. Im getting click for dirt cheap. The only thing i think people might have a problem with here in converting with youtube is having the correct video. Here are a few tips to make sure you get from click > landing page 1. ALWAYS have a watermark in your video. DO NOT just put Example Web Page NO NO! Depending on what your video is about, lets say you are in IM niche. Something like this will get them to type it in. Go to Example Web Page to see me make EVEN MORE money! Now they'll go. 2. Depending on who your video targets answerr that question IMMEDIATELY. These videos that load with a person saying "hello everyone, i am so and so and today im gonna talk about" Nobody cares who you are (for the most part) They are watching the video cause they have a questions. ANSWER or ASK that question in your very first sentence. example would be "Ok you guys wanna know how to do such and such right?" If you state the question in their mind they will stay. |

I'm afraid this is going to be tossed in the pile of dead IM tools that seem exciting at first but aren't that good. Right along side Chrome and Google Knols. I hate to be a downer though, I think people are going to have a lot of trouble paying for traffic to go to a video to convert into a sale. It's just one more step that doesn't make much sense to me, you'd need a really great pre-selling video.

Thanks for your feedback everybody. I just slapped this up within about 5 minutes and it was late last night just to see how it would work. I'm not even targeting correct keywords or the ones I realy want to use, and its not in my market of choice. (not for YouTube anyways) Can you imagine using keywords that people search for and your video or video channel appearing along side the top YouTube search results? What if you did a campaign on IPOD or Ringtones and used entertainment keywords where all the traffic is at?? Well Im not going to sit around. I've got some testing to do. So far the traffic is dirt cheap.... Frank Bruno |

Yes you are right in saying that it is a new goldmine. You Tube is ranked in the top 3 sites globally in terms of traffic so you can see the potential here! Let me share with you guys a statistic:- ip traffic to double every two years | creativecashblog.com So if you think about this that the main source of traffic being YouTube can you imagine how much traffic you can drive to your site? And you know you can do this all for FREE? without PPC? how? Use good keywords! ![]() Cheers Sin Boutkaska | |
