How can I record only a rectangular portion of my dekstop in camtastia or camstudio?

    You just drag the corners to the area that you want to record........

    What you do is zoom in after you have recorded the screen.


    As you can see in the picture above, I have circled the zoom and scale options. Just set the scale to what you want, then drag the window on the right to the correct place. You will see it's easy if you try.

        LOL, yes I was being a bit dense.

        I forgot to upload the picture, then got caught up in the code wondering why it wouldn't display.
